Taylor Langford HAHAHAHA😂😂😂 I love this comment! I feel your pain. I am Scottish, when I go on holiday I tan very frigging well, I go very dark. HOWEVER when I stand next to a Spanish person I look every shade of white😂. It’s great. 😂
Girl, I'm originally from Brazil but living in Ireland for 10 years, and believe me, I'm just as pale as the irish lol 3 layers of tan and I'm sorted for the week
I’ve been loving the Tanologist dark mousse from Target. . No color guard so doesn’t get on sheets/clothes, light smell, no orange, lasts a long time. $17
Norvell’s Venetian Mousse is my favorite. It’s the perfect violet undertone! It’s never splotchy and fades beautifully with rich color. 💜 highly recommend
Try the versa spa!!! The self tan soufflé with bronzer is my favorite and it drys instantly so you can wear it out and it’s not sticky at all and is a violet undertone so it looks really natural
dripping gold is def dark and one of my new favorites but beware as it is verrrrrrry sticky! I guess I must have touched my leg while I was sleeping and I woke up with orange hands and a white handprint on my leg. That has never happened to me in all my tanning days so just a lil warning 😅
suzette jacobson she has a whole video on how she does her self tan. Katie- Luster Lux has a great video on how to do it also! She goes pretty in depth on how much moisturizer, what kind, etc. She has dry skin as well. I think it's definitely worth watching. Hope that helps!
I use the Fake Bake Coconut Serum Self Tanner and I freaking love it!!!!!! For the longest time I used the fake bake darker spray tan you spoke about and I still like it, but the serum lasts sooooooo much longer and its such a pretty color. I was blown away the first time I tried it.
I am obsessed with the Rodan + Fields Sunless Tanning foam... it is so easy to use, a mousse, and gives such a natural color. I'm with you, the mousse formulas are so quick and easy!
Can you please do a makeup look on the makeup you are wearing in this video??? It’s so beautiful and natural looking definitely something new from the Smokey eyes 😂 love you Casey 💓
I’m a dark self tanner and the st tropez extra dark is NOT extra dark only the color guard, I’m so glad someone experienced that too. The regular dark is much darker and lasts longer. I can’t wait to try the loving tan 2 hour express and the dripping gold. Thank you for the video and suggestions I feel like this video was made for me !!💛
This was really helpful. I too love a good self tan and if I’m going to go through the effort to apply it - I better be DARK. I don’t have time for any of that light or medium nonsense
You should do the "my dogs pick my makeup video." Your pups are so cute; I think it would be so fun to watch that! Especially because they usually peek into PR boxes and get so excited for them lol
I use st tropez express but I also leave it on overnight and I love it! Recently found a dupe that’s a fraction of the price though.. ulta brand tanning mousse works exactly the same and it’s 1/3 of the price !
I took a chance with Bondi Sands and I have to say I love it! For me it's a really dark tan when I let it develop overnight and doesn't get streaky of spotty...and the price is great!
honestly I use self tanner to help fill in the tan lines from the beach and give me a glow! I have the minetan one and that works amazing for me (not dark ash but the original color which is more olive tone) but I would totally try all of these that you suggest!!
So nice to hear such a big influencer such as Casey talking about an irish product, sosue is Suzanne Jackson’s brand, she has makeup and the most amazing fake eyelashes too!! Defiantly recommend trying more from her range. Must try this tan next 😻
You may have tried it BUT the Jergens mousse in deep bronze is the best. It's hydrating, easy to apply, affordable and if you sleep in it, it gets you dark! It is never ever patchy and fades really well to. :) You should try it
Kenzie Pope it’s definitely red under toned, and I’m very fair but I like the color. I guess it’s a personal preference whether or not you consider it to look orange
Fake Bake Flawless is my absolute favorite! It fades so well and lasts a decent amount of time for me! It never gets on my sheets when I sleep over night in it!
I’m loving Vita Liberata’s new tanning water! Also Josie Maran! And have you tried Josie’s mitts?? Hers are so soft and dreamy! Highly recommend trying her mitts!!!!
Wow I have been using the st tropez mitt and have gotten so frustrated with the streaky mess it left me every time... I just tried the mitt you suggested... my life is changed!!! Never knew a tan could look so good 😊
I obviously don’t self tan 😂 But I love any video you post & love you girl!! ✨♥️ You look beautiful as always babes!! 😍💁🏽♀️ Sending you all the love from Georgia 🍑🍑🍑😘
I love this video! I wish you would've mentioned the price of these. I've only ever used loving tan because with the discount it's the cheapest tan I've found that lasts a week. Are any of these cheaper?? Just curious! 💕
You should try to get your hands on iconic bronze tans. I have only used the lotion but they have missed as well and they are so popular, affordable and deep. I actually think the medium comes a up a deeper tan 😍
I'm 40 and just started with self tanners. I bought Loving Tan because it's at Ulta (POINTS) and so raved about. I also bought the Tan Lux gradual lotion. I've tried both and I really love them, particularly the Loving Tan and get compliments. Being so pale, I'm not used to getting compliments on my tan, lol. I got the Loving Tan bronze shimmer stuff but haven't used it. And I got the Westmore Beauty tan body makeup which I also haven't tried. One thing about self tanning is I feel like I don't want to move or it'll ruin it. I use the 2 hour Express and put it on in the morning. But then I sit super still like a weirdo afraid I'm going to mess it up. Does moving or sleeping in it ruin it? Unfortunately, peri menopause has started and I do sweat at night. Will that ruin it? It doesn't seem to affect the finished tan once it's set and rinsed off. I'm just worried about the whole setting in part.
Michelle Rhodes sweating too much can ruin it so best bet is to keep the AC on at night I sometimes sleep in it or sometimes I just wait out the 8 hours and then shower immediately
Cristy C. Thank you for the tips! I'll probably just continue to do it in the morning when I'm working at home then showering after work. Even with the AC and only a sheet, them hormones got me sweating ALL night long! I also need a fan. In winter too! Getting older stinks!
Thank you for talking about menopause openly. It happens to fifty percent of the population, so I don’t see why people act like it’s not to be spoken of. Hope it goes well for you! I notice I’m able to sweat in it (I go to the gym in mine) and once I wash it off it looks fine
Taylor Langford. It's a fact of life and getting older is a privilege denied to many. I accept it even if I don't always like it! Thanks for letting me know you don't have an issue sweating in it.
Hey Casy! Have you tried the Jergens lotion tanner? It is a lotion but it is so easy and it seems to have a thinner consistency than other lotion self tanners. It also doesn't leave me streaky and I don't really find it to get on my sheets. It is a bit of a lighter self tanner but I think they have darker shades. I really love it and it is super easy and hydrating. It has a more olive undertone. You do have to apply for a couple of days depending how dark you want it to be, but it fades really nicely, and comes really easy.
McKayla Cadenhead I love this one too. Every self tanner I used I feel looks so orange so I prefer gradual tanners. It can build up pretty dark and it's cheap too!
Casey, when you self tan solo how do you get your back?? I feel like it is so streaky when I try to tan my back. I really would love to see your self tan routine!
So happy you made this video!!! Have you tried the isle of paradise skin prep spray? Also,How long do your tans last and what is your favorite moisturizers to help them last?
Casey, do you have any tips for getting self tanner to stick to your chest? I notice that my chest never gets as dark as my arms and legs, and it sinks into the pores.
I used it once a couple summers agoand liked it but it was the medium. Is the dark really dark? They don't sell it at my Wal-Mart anymore for some reason.
as far as drug store the best iv'e tried was the jergins mousse in dark, since it's a drugstore it has a more yellowy color but a lot more natural looking than other drugstore products. I even use it with higher price tanners to fix spots and use it on my face. Super even and a great price. develops quickly as well but don't wash off like other tanners.
This video was SO good. Very informative! I love that you have the ballz to say what you don’t care for... a lot of youtubers won’t do that. THANK YOU for being real! Love u casey!
Bondi Sands Liquid Gold is life. Doesn’t run off on your sheets, dries pretty instantly, fades evenly. You do have to put two coats on for a dark tan, but it’s so worth it for how low maintenance it is.
I love that LOVING TAN is sold at Ulta😃👌 I recently tried it and it's amazing, but just like Casey mentioned, Ultra Dark is not as dark🤔 but it's still very beautiful👌
ana love I just found it this year😀 I ordered mine online but they also have it at the Ulta I went to, I'd recommend you call your local Ulta if you're planning to pick it up in store though😊
Totally agree with all of your reviews!! So spot on with the ultra dark tans just having a dark guide and then washing straight off! I have a whole load of tanners just like you and I feel the same way about each one! Very helpful video x
