That 3 kilo chocolate bar would be a job to eat. Good idea to wrap it and store for later. Indonesia has some really interesting snack foods for sure.

The giant Silverqueen tasted better than the normal-sized bar because the chocolate bloomed in the normal bar. In other words, the cocoa butter melted and the recrystalized giving the chocolate that white blotchy, dull look. There’s nothing technically wrong with it but it lost some of its quality.

That giant silverqueen chocolate is worth either a quarter or half an average salaryman's monthly income lmao. Can't complain tho, looks like it could feed your family for months or your entire extended family for weeks.

The jackfruit dodol would be an instant buy for me, in part because of the non-plastic packaging.

Balinese milk pies are one of the best dessert I've ever tasted.

I love the sound of the rain and thunder in the background. Some very generous sized snacks there too, not hakf empty bags filled with air.

I never comment on these but I want to say thank you for putting USD prices! I truly think the prices in the US would be triple if not quadruple the prices here. I also really enjoy the scenery where you try the foods and hearing the background noise and rainstorms!

You have got to love the videos from Mom's Patio. There is always the mandatory thunder and rain. That interesting oversized chocolate bar is nice that you wrapped it up and took three days to eat it (with help ?). I hope Mom is doing okay. Hugs from Canada.

Giant candy bars are somewhat common to see in US stores around the major candy holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s Day, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that big. 3 pound (1.36kg) Hershey bars aren’t too hard to find, and 5 pound (2.26kg) ones do exist as well at around the same cost as this one. I have no idea how I would ever actually eat that much chocolate though. Trader Joe’s also regularly sells 500g “Pound Plus” bars that are pretty good and around $6 each.

hey some tips for storing that chocolate is if you have the space, the freezer or the fridge :) you can chip away at blocks using a butter knife just be careful of where you do it since the force might break weak tables. and it it develops chocolate bloom it's edible it might be a different texture and kind of ugly though. but bloom is totally safe to eat. you can also melt this chocolate down and put it into different molds and stuff if you want to try fun shapes :)

The Brem Bali looks like it has the texture of Violet Crumble which is a local Australian candy bar but without the chocolate coating.

The 3kg choco looks good the smaller version is too bright. It means that the chocolate got too warm somehow. Like when you store the candy close to a heat source.

As Indonesian, I never know that 3 kg Silverqueen was excist. Btw Qtela, especially Tempe, was my favorite snack instead potato chips. Sometimes i ate Lemonilo brands too. Both are my favorite

Leave one chunk of the big chocolate and put the rest the freezer and take out a chunk when you finish the one in the fridge, it will last longer.

I guess Singapore that time isn't in very hot weather because if i put any chocolate anywhere here in Indonesia, it will be quickly melted. I never bought the giant silverqueen 😂 for beng-beng, I like the big size more, it got more caramel and tastier. thank you for reviewing Indonesian snacks!

My uncle work at the factory where those Silverqueen chocolate were produced but man that the first time i see those giant 3 kg chocolate bar, usually my uncle would give us those factory reject chocolate bar that weight just 1 kg during holiday season like Eid
