Umaibou is one of the most popular Japanese snack!!
There many different kinds of taste,
this time I have tried 15 different kinds of taste.
Regular Umaibou is 10 Japanese yen, and premium one is 20 Japanese Yen.

I love umaibou.. but here in the states it’s almost impossible to find them for less than $1.50US each. I figured I was paying out a lot…but to find out they cost less than $0.10US each in japan 🤯

Hello, Rion-san, do you have like your own versions of something that is like an equivalent of Crunch 'N' Munch, Cracker Jack, Screaming Yellow Zonkers, Fiddle Faddle, etc. in Japan? I wonder if the Japanese snack food companies would do their own versions of those things, as well as their own unique spins on flavored popcorn?

Thanks for the comment Kiko ^^ Haha, you like the character of Umaibo😉? His name is "Umaemon" I believe🤔 "Umaibo" is really popular cheap snack in Japan! They have many tastes, so I believe you can find your favorite taste😆!

The amazing thing is that no matter how much inflation there is, Umaibo has consistently cost only 10 Yen for decades now, and will most likely stay at that price forever.

Thanks for the comment Maureen ^^ This one cost 10 JPY [10 cent] per sticks, so 15 Umaibo ,was just 150 JPY [1.5 USD]😆haha

I believe some Donquijotes which have "Dagashi section", you can buy it there. but if they don't maybe you cannot find😅 The Donquijote in front of Doguyasuji, Namba, Osaka, you can find it though😉
