Ok Mamma , the fact that some people was always saying you don't feed your kids enough food , they don't know what there talking about . Them kids eat great. My mother in law was from the hills of Kentucky. That woman cold cook like no tomorrow. I never ate so good when I went to her house for supper . I learned a few things from her that's for sure . One of my favorite things was her country brown gravey . And let me tell you , she could make a box of Kraft Mac n cheese tastes like it never came out of a box . Southern cooking is the best food in the world. You keep doing what you do Lady . Your my favorite. ❤❤❤

The beef recipe looks amazing, but I would definitely use a cheaper cut of meat. Round steak or cubed rump roast would benefit from the slow cooking. Thanks for sharing Brooke!

I made the chicken n noodles for daughter and son in law- it was excellent! I became very sick mid afternoon so instructed daughter how to finish meal. J made a few adjustments- adding salt/pepper/minced garlic/and Italian seasoning into chicken broth and creamed soups. Cooked for 5:30 hrs/ shredded chicken/added carrots/frozen broccoli- and noodles. Served with crescent rolls

I love how honest you are, Brooke. I'm not a huge steak fan myself, so the chicken one looks like a winner to me, but my husband and kids are red meat lovers, so I'll try them both, but I bet the steak would work with chicken or pork too. KyKy really popped on the chicken one. Normally, he just passes out, but the "Mmmm" before the faint was a dead giveaway that it was a winner!

Hi Brittany!!! These look like super tasty meals! I wanted to give you a helpful tip that you might already know. If you put a damp paper towel under your cutting board it won't move around. I learned it in culinary school. I didn't know about it until then. Total game changer for my kitchen 😊❤😂

I just did a Google search and many of the recipes says you can add 2 cups of frozen vegetables at the same time you put the noodles in, so you can totally do that.

Should definitely try "Chicken Pot Pie soup! -2-3 cans of cream of chicken & herb soup -2 chicken breast or rotisserie chicken(I use this alot bc it makes it super quick) -frozen mixed veggies or canned. I used all canned just bc that's what I had on hand. Diced potatoes(drained), green beans(drained), sliced carrots(drained) -chicken bouillon to make broth Mix all together and cook on low in crockpot for a couple hours till hot if you use rotisserie chicken. Cook some biscuits and then add to the side. It's so good! If you use raw chicken breast cook on high for 4 hours, remove chicken, shred it, mix back into soup and you're done!

We make the chicken one all the time in the winter...I got it from a friend over 25 years ago...we just use any noodles we have on hand. Everyone loves it at our house 😉

Omg, chicken looks delicious, but yes, I would add a frozen pack of carrots and peas. 😋 I have used ribeye when I only had one piece of meat and I don't think it matters what type of potatoes, I also add chunky carrots ( we eat lots of carrots). 😋. But my great grandma had 16 kids, and my grandma had 13 kids. And you look just like one of my beautiful cousins in Ky. The first one with the Amish noodles was a hit. We had leftovers and I turned it into a creamy chicken noodle soup the next day. After we put the noodles in there was no way to cook it another 2 hours. I think it took 30 minutes and we were ready to eat.

You are just precious!! OMGosh, We use to have grilled hot dog and cheese, but we cut the hot dog lengthwise and lay it open with the cheese on top and grill just like a cheese sandwich.

We’ve been doing the chicken and noodles for several years, and love it! I like your idea of carrots in next time too! My noodles are usually completely done in one hour, and I also use the kluskie noodles!
