Trying A KABUKI Makeup That Is Not Allowed For Women 

Lovely video as always! Just a small correction: although kabuki is traditionally performed by men, women are of course allowed onstage since the Meiji restoration. For example, this month two young woman will appear at the regular program at the Kabuki-za (Ichikawa Botan and Terajima Tomoyo), and some troupes such as the historic Zenshin-za include actresses permanently.
