Danny casually just dropping a great idea for a new series. Rate My Takeaway: Take 2. Where they go back to some of the favourite establishments to catch up with the owners and to try something different from the menu. I’m already giddy at the idea of Nibble in Hull getting a second episode.
Good. Its far better to be a humble chip shop, and to excel at it than to be a fancy restaurant and burn the garlic. Very good value for money here too. Nice one Danny. 🌟👍
Some of the grub that Danny eats just makes my mouth water. That lot looked amazing, and huge portions for a great price too. Life up 't norf isn't always grim.
When I was at uni in Chester 15 years ago there was a local Chinese that did something I have never seen before and never seen since, it was a hot and sweet (could be wrong) curry, hard to explain it but texture similar to a sweet and sour but tasted more like like chilli sauce and it had a kick to its taste, the place also did home made chippy chips.
I live in Walkden and this place is awesome, they do lunchtime specials that are usually pretty cheap. Donner barm and chips with a can, the trick is to pay extra for them to also put the chinese pork on. Chilli sauce and mint yogurt on the chips and barm. Amazing. The same family own another half a mile down the road called the walkden bar 2 and then another if you were to keep driving through walkden, through worsley to Winton called the winton bar. Same quality, same amazingly friendly staff. Well worth a try if youre in the area.
That looks reallly good... but I think Danny got so carried away with the taste that he also forgot to mention how cheap it was! I'd love to try it there!
I was drooling on this one, havent drooled for AGES,i felt like Homer Simpson when he see's donuts 🤤🤤🤤... Definite 10/10 on this one Danny looked bangin' 👌🏾
Just went there this evening. Had the same as you had... was truly fantastic definitely a solid 10... the pork was so succulent and tasty... The price amazing.. Thanks for doing what you do.. Next on the list is the 30 inch pizza in Newcastle lol
@@gewglesux no? It’s dandelion and burdock flavoured. The clue is in the name!!!!! It doesn’t taste like liquorice. It’s more like root beer and sarsaparilla, it’s unique but not strong. Just pleasant.
Looks like a great place and great price. I'm gonna try and make something similar at home with Char Siu Pork and Pitta Bread. What salad was in this? Looks like cucumber, raw onions, white cabage and tomato? Does that sound right? Yum! :)
2 years of asking Danny to try some of my local takeaways. Will NEVER give up! Barbecue - Middleton (Best award winning kebab) Lordes - Bury (Best award winning chippy) COME ON DANNY!!!!
@@jethro70 And it's a great example of how cultures interbreed! Everyone steals ideas from everyone else... purists may scream but the rest of us say, "That's so good!".
@@howardbeatman2820 Oh, it looks delicious... and it's a great job of adapting cuisine to match the taste buds of the market they're selling in. No, it's not authentic to any one type of cuisine, but if it tastes good, it will sell.
@@imdaprophet But chippys are normally the salt and vinegar kind, carry outs selling kebab meat and Chinese establishments dont bother their arse putting it on.
It's a fiat 500 abarth. It has the abarth logo with the scorpion. It has like a 1.4 turbo charged engine and more sporty bits on it. So probably upgraded suspension etc. Abarth has a racing and rally history.
Hey Danny you should get your self a little rubber door wedge for every time your table has a wobble just plop it under the dodgy leg. That kebab looks mint !
I think 🤔 this guy is absolutely brilliant!! Mean u gotta give him credit where credit is due! He's got the confidence to go out with a van and a cameraman n look like he's talking to himself n "test out" big portions of takeaway food. 😉👍I think he's brilliant! 😉👍 He's also a audience member of stephs packed lunch! 🤗
