Yeah, the patty was always bland as hell, and all you you could taste was the sauce, which tasted like Fevicol/glue. Nobody ate Aloo Tikki burger because it was good, but because it was the only thing most people (usually students) could afford. Yeah. I live less than 1km away from a Dominos and they still took 1.5 hours for my order once. There's literally a 20 minute delivery guarantee for me here in Bangalore,,given the proximity of Domnios to my home, and that got me pissed. They also shut down the phone line. And I know how much pissed that made me. After that incident I've avoided ordering and usually eat in, as it's literally walkable from home. So yeah, I don't blame Kenny for it .
McAloo Tikki is popular in India because it's cheap(ish) + vegetarian + it allowed many Indians to experience "cool" american fast food for the first time, at least when MCD first came to India. Even so, their food is not exactly healthy - a common factor between McDs in both countries - so it's not a place you can (or should) eat at regularly. I'm glad u like Indian food tho. pizza hut is damn expensive as compared to dominos and in my opinion, oven story doesn't provide many options. If you can't reach the restaurant directly - especially in larger cities like Mumbai - one good option is to order via a food ordering app like Swiggy or Zomato. Most restaurants are available on one or both apps, and the app companies will take care of issues like delayed or wrong deliveries (I once got noodles for free because the driver delivered the wrong order to me. I got my own food too). Yes, you'll pay a little more but you'll probably save sme grief too 😂

Tbh BurgerKing is much, MUCH better than McDonald's here in India. Their menu is smaller but everything is so rich in taste. Absolutely delicious. McDonald's is kinda bland in comparison.

I'm sorry Dominos let you down, I'm in Chennai and if you order delivery I always budget on 90 min for delivery no matter what Zomato says. My experience does motivate me to order locally, pick up and bring back tbf. The delivery in SE Asia is alot more dependable.

I have an entirely different experience with dominos, india which is very good compared to yours. Don't know why it took too long for you but they have some other great pizzas than what you tested. Yeah, someone could probably figure out which hotel this is, then the nearest dominos. Traffic is bad in India in general and it takes a long time to move small distances by car. He also ordered two small items, so might have got his order lowered in priority. Domino's is a modern company and will probably refund.
I have had the same situation with Domino's, first they took 2 hrs to deliver , then brought the wrong order at 11.30pm which i had ordered at 8pm , the next day they we called them and talked to the manager and gor a refund. I live in India and the dominos is 3kms from my house. It should not take 2hrs to delicer the wrong order, they dont even let you track their drivers while every single other app does that. This happened 2 years ago , i havent had dominos since then as theres always better local options.
idk why u got your order so late, there can be two reasons 1. They were just lazy or busy 2. As u r in Mumbai, u might know traffic especially in night I live in Lucknow and usually, my order arrives in 15 minutes. The dominos you orderd was a regular size for 1-2 person its like a little snack. You can order the large or medium which has better ingredients and you have many options like cheeseburts, deepdish or thin crust.
