I love the fact that you are trying Birria tacos. They are amazing. They take a while to actually make also it’s like one of those meals that you have to prep ahead of time because you have to make everything from scratch. Basically, you have to make the sauce that you dip it all in all by hand, you have to roast and toast certain like things like sesame seeds garlic, you have to soak certain peppers in a water broth along with some other stuff and then you have to take those transfer them to a blender. Blend everything together basically while you have your two different meats that you have put in the water broth cooking it’s so tedious. It takes a few hours to prepare, but it’s so worth it and as far as the meat traditionally, the meat that I’ve seen used is short ribs and Chuck pot roast cooked until it falls apart where it literally just you stick a fork in it and it like just pulls apart so easily but both of those can just make the perfect texture perfect flavor plus the sausage it’s cooked in or the juice that it’s cooked inthe main makes the meat fabulous

My partner has a secret family recipe for birria and one day he’s gonna open a food truck and restaurant to sell the tacos. Traditionally they get made for special occasions, but social media definitely blew up their popularity!

I've been listening to 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' audiobook and the writing is so good. I've just passed the morning where the glamour is gone and she's seeing more and more around her. I listen to audiobooks to help me fall asleep which isn't really happening with this one. That should tell you how this book is, lol.

Decorating for Halloween was never a thing in my house growing up or in Ireland at all even though the holiday of Halloween came from Ireland. Only in the last 20 years, people do decorate but not to the extent of the Halloween craziness of America. Most people will decorate the door for trick or treaters and that’s it. That’s how you know you can trick or treat there. When I live in my own place, I will be decking out the house all witchy and halloween all year round. It’s not for religious reasons, I did dress up as a kid, we went to halloween parties but we just never decorated. Now when it comes to Christmas, Christmas exploded in my house. My mom puts like 6000 Christmas items on the mantle alone.

That's a really good idea to sum up chapters, I love to read but I'm dyslexic and forget things soon after I read them.

Yes!!!! One of my coworkers got me into the series. Just finished the first book! Taking notes is such a good idea to do so I can discuss the book in detail with my coworker and become better friends. Also for Halloween, one time I was responsible for passing out candy. We had some extra surgical gloves that we didn't need anymore so I decided to pack candy in them and dressed as a nurse. The kids loved them! I might do that again this year. Have a good weekend!!😊

I actually have my Halloween decor until til the end of December. I do a creepmas. I have a black spooky tree up then I add some Xmas ornaments and colors too it. Reminds me of nightmare before Christmas 🎄

I dont know if anyone answered your question but the Birria tacos are different because of the oily sauce you dip them in. It's the sauce the meat is cooked in. Its oily because that is the fat from the meat.

I’m almost halfway through A Court of Silver Flames and I’m starting to mildly freak out about what I’m gonna do with my life when I finish. I’m gonna be lost as hell!

I was part of a Walmart family growing up too and now every time I go to target, I’m like why is everything so much more expensive here. I like target for decor, but anything like groceries I still shop at Walmart or my local grocery store. It makes no sense to spend a few extra dollars on the same products that I can get cheaper at Walmart. They’re both mega corporations, and I’d rather not support either of them but groceries are too expensive so I do what I have to. My family never really celebrated Halloween growing up. I have pictures of myself dressed up one time and I’m not sure if we actually went trick or treating. Now I really love Halloween, but I don’t have storage space currently for all the different holiday decorations. I’m so excited for the day that I can go all out for Halloween!!
