I want to move to Germany when I grow up? Can you let me know what it is like in germany? Do most Germans know and English if I get a degree in the USA (hematology) will that degree work in Germany?thank you
The culture is pretty different in Germany. I'm from America, but my mom grew up there (she is almost fully German). Overall, Europeans tend to be less friendly than people in the US. Germany is currently very left-winged, especially in the big cities, so depending on your political opinion, that would be something to consider. Additionally, the number of physical assaults has increased recently. This has been linked to the immigration crisis happening throughout Europe. Foreign language education is important to Germans, so many will have a basic understanding of English- I do still recommend learning as much German as possible if you decide to go, because only some know English well. On a more positive note, the government covers a lot of its students' tuition, so it is less expensive to pursue a higher education there. I don't know if you can get that specific degree, but it's something to look into. Remember to do your own research, too. I know a fair amount about this, but I am no expert, so make sure to look beyond the comment section for information. :)
The Chemistry Nerd They aren't necessarily mean or anything. They simply aren't as warm. For example, it is pretty normal in the US to say hi to a stranger or apologize to someone you bump into. If you say hi to a stranger in Europe, they'll probably think you're pretty strange. Also, they aren't likely to apologize for running into you and will probably keep walking. They're still good people, but they do need to warm up to you. Politically, you'll probably fit in just fine. There has been a large shift in the last couple decades in terms of their political mindset. Germany now focuses heavily on being open-minded. The biggest issue with this is that anyone who conservative is labeled a Nazi. By what you wrote, you won't be labeled as such. Just make sure to be kind to people who think differently than you.
Liv A. Ok thanks, I just can't take it in America anymore and I heard germany was nice from reading blogs online, I heard they were more laid back (had more vacations from work) and were more accepting of people
I really like the video❤️this is sooo cool to see that you're trying german candy😂I love all of these but I don't like lacrice too(sorry I don't know how to write but I think you know what i mean) you are soo pretty i love to see people who try it because I know they and know how they taste 😂❤️I'm from Germany too❤️I hope my English was good☺️🤷🏼♀️pls anyone who from America please say when it good, okay or bad🤷🏼♀️😂
Try Russian candy, I have a Russian friend and she gave me this hard candy that was soda flavored (orange) but it was fizzy too, it was so good but idk what it was called.
I live in Texas and I've tried half of the German candy and I don't have any relatives that are German😂😂😂 I literally have three packs of Biskoff cookies in my pantry
In the kinder bar the milk in it is actually not German but Italien. We have them in Canada 🇨🇦 (you would think that kinder is from Germany since kinder means "kids" in German) 💗😊🍫
I am from Romania and I love Milka, Kinder, and the Wafers! I also went to America and tried Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish and Starburts for the first time this summer, and I loved the Sour Patch Kids and the Starbursts as well! :) I also love Milka chocolate and there are so many different kinds, not just the one with nuts they tried in the video.
Pickles are the way to my heart!! Just as I started eating solid food my grandpa would sit me on his lap and feed me pickles. Been hooked every since! Lol
Try Real good mexican candies like: Lucas Nucita Paleta payaso Miguelito Mazapan Pelon pelo rico Pulparindo Picafresas Bubalubu Dubalin Paleta de mango , pollo chile Carlos v Banderita
The wafers are from austria not germany! And Kinder chocolate is Italian not german. And Biscoff is from Belgium not Germany. And guess what? the mozart chocolat (Mozartkugel) is also from Austria, not germany I think that the german girl doesn't know her own country.
Catarina Madanços the video not necessarily supposed to show candy that is originally from germany but it's supposed to show candy that is popular in germany... Stop being butt hurt😁
Kinder is German. It means children in german. The company Ferrero originally was italian but a german bought it. So it is german. You right about the others tho
it is so entertaining to watch you try all these candies I eat on a daily bases. I love Haribo and also Milka. I live in Hungary, which is pretty close to German so yeah
They have Biscoff cookies and spread available in the US. I'm allergic to nuts so i use the biscoff spread as a substitute if i'm craving something sweet!
