jodilovesreborns I've heard of all of them but some are older, cheaper Dollar Store or movie theatre candies. I suspect that few folks under 40 like Milk Duds for example. I am amazed that they are still produced.

That white stuff on milk-chocolate is called 'blooming'. That happens when the chocolate gets a bit too warm and the milk fats separate for the cocoa solids. It lowers the quality of the chocolate a little, but it's usually still pretty good.

Sorry to say it but when you could buy all this from a specialist shop in my city I tried almost all of these with the same reaction. I like what the Americans do with peanuts but otherwise the flavours are just so awful.
