I work at McDonald’s and the bacon they use on the burgers during main menu is pre cooked and packaged where as the bacon we use at breakfast is oven cooked so they both taste completely different also the chocolate milkshake might have a banana undertone when u tried it because they might of poured a banana milkshake just before pouring yours

The bacon on the roll and the burgers is two completely different bacon rashers. I used to work there and the rolls bacon was proper where as the burgers bacon was like small rashers xx

The chocolate one tastes like banana because the machines take a lot of effort to clean out, so the workers don’t clean them often 😂 - my uncle works at maccies and told me this!

I worked there for 6 years while I was at uni - The machine heat treat cleans itself every day twice a day and has to be deep cleaned once a week and then super deep cleaned once a month... the machine literally won’t let you use it unless it has been cleaned. So this is not true! The reason you get the taste of another flavour is because it will be the last flavour poured before yours - the machine always has a bit of residue left in the pipe beforehand unless it’s the first one after a clean.
