I haven't gone to Target in awhile, Walmart is much closer. But watching this, I think a Target trip will be in the near future! I love their trail mixes.. You sent a great 1st batch, and 2 to go!

Meyer lemon is a cross between citron, mandarin, and pomelo. It's sweeter than a regular lemon, has a darker skin, and is rounder. It's the most common lemon that people grow in their yards in California. Meyer lemons are really good for marmalade.

When I was a child we got a clue to find more clues and once you put all the clues together you had to figure out where your Easter Basket was hidden. I remember one when I was about 5 years old, my basket was inside the dryer. LOL Included in my basket was an inflatable chair. I loved that chair. LOL

Shaelin and I go to Target every Saturday morning to get coffees (there’s a Starbucks inside) and shop around. Even if we don’t buy anything it’s kind of a Saturday morning tradition at this point to go. We are so busy during the week and it’s become our mom and daughter time to just talk and spend time together. So Target holds a special place in my heart haha! Eden goes too if she wakes up in time. 😂

Our nieces are coming over from England and I can’t wait to do a proper American Easter for them! Easter baskets filled to the brim, Easter egg coloring and hunts, all hidden by the Easter bunny for them to find in the morning! Love you guys, you’re the best!

I'm an odd ball. Only 10 minutes from Target but I never go there! I may need to go for treats though. They look so good! Occasionally I go for kid/baby clothes but I try to stay away from all the other aisles lol.

The funny thing about Target, which i know by previous trips is that once you walk in you have to almost expect to be spending nearly $100 every time. lol You just find EXTRA items every time you visit. I hope you two, or three come back to the states again real soon. Loved the video 🍫🍿

We had Target here in Canada for a short time. They all eventually closed because they didn't go over as well. I was in ONE Target and wasn't all that impressed personally. It seemed like just another Walmart. LOL There was never one in my small town. I believe it's because we have a convenience store with the same name. But there was one about 45 mins away.

@@ThisWithThem It's similar to Tim Hortons in the US. Even though there are still Tim Horton's in parts of the states, others closed because the market is already saturated with coffee shops so the Tim Hortons didn't stand a chance in states that aren't along our border.

I grew up in the 70's here in America and Easter entailed a hunt for the basket, hidden by the Easter Bunny that night filled with all kinds of candies and toys when we woke, followed by another hunt for eggs outside which were actually hard boiled eggs that were previously decorated or colored by us days prior. The hunt was what it was about because there was no excitement about the eggs themselves. Could not even tell you what became of the eggs in those days.

@@ThisWithThem I so believe they were made into Develed Eggs or in some part of that Easter meal. I also remember them sitting in the refrigerator. Memory deceives me after all these years and the traditions have faded, unfortunately.

When I was young (many, many years ago😂) we usually visited relatives in Illinois for Easter. (We lived in western Missouri.) one year we got home Easter Sunday and ran out back to find our baskets. I was old enough to know mom and dad were actually the Easter bunny and couldn’t figure out how they did it! They were in the car with us. Later figured a neighbor hid them for us. We used to go to Easter egg hunts and they usually used plastic eggs with jelly beans, small toys and sometimes money in them.

US Rolos and 100 grand bars used to have a chewier caramel in them but they changed the recipe at some point and they haven't been as good since.

Meyer Lemons are usually grown in California. It is definitely a different kind of lemon that is normally found in the grocery store. My Aunt from Modesto CA had Meyer Lemon trees and would send us a big box of regular lemons, Meyer Lemons, Grapfruits and big Navel Oranges from their ranch for Christmas. The Meyer lemons were smaller, thinner skinned and a lot sweeter than the other lemons she sent. My Uncle Irv said they were a cross breed between regular lemons and Mandarin Oranges

We lived in America in 1996 when my daughter was small and spent a small fortune on Cadbury crème eggs and a small hollow chocolate egg. We left the chocolate egg out for her to find on Easter Sunday and woke up to find it covered in ants! The crème eggs were in a drawer but when we went to look they had been nibbled by mice! American friends said the always kept anything sweet sealed up in plastic boxes❤

I live about 2 miles from a Target 🎯 as well. I don’t go as often as I used to when my son was younger, it was an easy outing for us, grab a Starbucks (they have them in store) and he could browse the toy aisle and I could shop for needed items.

I love target cause they do have some specific things to target and it’s a little more of an elevated experience. At least every time I’ve ever been. It’s not a chaotic or messy or loud and overly crowded store. They are more expensive and only carry a select amount of certain things though so I don’t go as often as I would Walmart.

I grew up with an Easter basket and we had to go look for it. Thankfully none of them were hidden in the oven and we always found them. Back in the 70's the chocolate Easter bunny in the basket was huge and a solid milk chocolate, so you had to break off a piece and eat it. It was about a 1 lb sold milk chocolate bunny and was heavy. Now it seems to be just hollow or whatever or if it was solid it was smaller than when I was a kid. LOL.

Honestly I do like 90% of my grocery shopping at target. They have a ton of produce, bakery, frozen items. I do still have to sometimes grab some stuff from another grocery store. But surprisingly I’ve been comparing prices in orders, from Walmart and Meijer another grocery store and target is cheaper.

Amazing!! Hope you enjoy trying everything!!! Especially those caramels 😍😍 Ooo how fun!!! If you like dried fruit the juicy and succulent dried mango is amazing. We love their popcorn- sweet and salt and then the cheddar one too! Erm trying to think now haha. The fresh salted caramel brownies that come in a plastic pack. They have these fruit jelly candies that have a sugared outside in a plastic pack too. They’re incredible!! The lemon filled wafers. Scandinavian swimmers. They’re always bringing out new things and some things are only seasonal so maybe allow yourself plenty of time to walk around and have a good look and just pick up some things with flavours you love. I love target. It's a Minnesota company. Their prices can be a little high though. I shop there regardless because of the convenience. I can get nearly everything I need there. Aldi is still my preference for most of my groceries though. It would be fun to try and find more MN centric stuff to send you guys.

We have always had Easter Egg Hunts and baskets but my family up until 2020 had the most crazy Easters ever. They were always at my house and we would cook so many sides and would cook around 100 lbs of different smoked and grilled meats and tons of desserts. The most fun part was family members would come to our Tennessee home from as far off as California for the kids hunts. This is honest to good truth we would have over 10 thousand eggs from the size of 1 inch to 12 inch eggs filled with candy toys and money. I am no longer physically able to host the 200 or more guests every year

I live about a mile from a Target. I go there about 3 times a week.😊 I love the store. They have really nice items and groceries as well. While your video was on there was a Target commercial. Isn't that funny? I wonder if the algorithm knew you were talking about Target items. I'm sure. There are no secrets on the internet.😅 Spring and summer are on the way with Easter coming. Target is pretty much equal price wise to Wal-Mart but I think they have better quality products and their store brand products are great! I love their trail mix varieties which are priced fantastic!

Grew up with Easter baskets but we didn't do with our kids cuz of our religion. We celebrate the true meaning of Easter (resurrection Sunday) and we where not against the grandparents doing baskets for our kids but we didn't want them growing up with the Easter commercialism.

Honestly. Can't stand Target. It's overpriced junk just like Walmart, but branded to appeal to people with more money. It's so fake. I'm not a very materialistic person though, so... give me a good book shop or game/coffee shop anyday. Lol. I prefer Kroger or Aldi for my groceries and rarely buy clothes or shoes.
