So I was told once by a waitress that the reason they come by when your mouth is full is because you can only really give a nod or shake of your head to their answer, and they're not stuck having a whole conversation with you when they have other tables to wait. It's a great strategy if you ask me.

Kate! Regarding matcha, my first was powdery/grassy & I felt the same. But! I kept trying them & found I prefer them with lavender & iced seems to be safer! 🍵 Great video as always! 💕✨

@@lbednazI thought that too, I wonder if that's the older English version. My dad grew up in England and has always referred to a slice of cheese toast as a cheese toastie. Only in the last 10 years I've seen people call a grilled cheese a toastie. Either way I don't think you can go wrong lol

I am with you about the matcha. I like the taste but don’t like the graininess. I have been looking for a way to make sure it all dissolves but haven’t found it yet. I would love it, without the powder.

Kate and Alex. The Canelle exterior is like that because the moulds are brushed with beeswax and butter. They cant be "too blonde" or else you wont get the difference of textures. The inside is supposed to be quite custard like and not dry. 😊

Yeah you're very right! But thankfully these weren't crazy! We've just heard a lot about them on Tiktok. A weekend might be another story though. Would dread the weekend crowd!
