Trying Golden Corral's ENTIRE BUFFET MENU! Entrees + Desserts! 

I ate them a lot growing up. They were a treat to eat at when i was younger but nowadays i think they cut back on all the details that made the food great. Also, the yeast rolls were a winner! You gotta get them hot with the honey butter on top. Theyd run out constantly.

Sadly most of the restaurants don’t really season their food because of all the old people that eat there but I went to Alabama to my in laws before and they seasoned all their food and it was delicious

Way back in the old days there was a buffet restaurant called Ponderosa and they were delish. You got cooked to order meat ( steak, burger, chicken etc) then all the sides were buffet style. They even had a soft serve ice cream machine for dessert. Miss that place

When I played soccer during my youth, there would always be a Thanksgiving day tournament. So for years my family and I would be out of town, sleeping in hotels and eating thanksgiving dinner at golden corral. It has a special place in my heart. Lmao

I haven't been to Golden Corral in like 10 years up until last week. 😮 I didn't have any of those food items you taste-tested except for the mashed potatoes. They are legit real and tasted so good! Our location had a rich, brown gravy that complimented them so well. 👌🏻

I’ve tried Golden Corral in the past they were good now not so good. Love your honesty

When I was growing up we would go to Golden Corral on church trips 😂😂😂 this is bringing back weird memories!

Our GC has been closed since the pandemic and now the building is up for sale. But when it was open, it stayed packed with elderly people. And I think the food is made to accommodate elderly people which is why everything is mushy and easy to chew. And not too flavorful so they don't have digestive issues. When I was forced to go there bc of family, I would always get the rotisserie chicken breast (actually juicy, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy, a roll, sweet potato casserole, mixed greens with ham and carrot cake. The greens were out of a can but the best out of all the veggies. The sweet potatoes were acceptable. The carrot cake was the best tasting dessert and seemed to be the most normal. Ours had more sugar-free options than anything else. And things like tapioca and bread pudding. Needless to say I don't miss it. Now grandma has to eat at the Chinese Buffet.

I make a homemade bourbon street chicken, because I had it once at GC and loved it. My husband is addicted to their yeast rolls. We haven’t been in years because of COVID. We went to a GC in Orlando in 2018 when we went to Disney and we compared it to the one we go to in MA and the food was better at the one up here. 😋😜

Idk every GC I've ever been to has had really good fried chicken and an amazing salad bar. When the yeast rolls are warm from the case they're buttery and delicious. Those are really the only things I got when I went there, so idk what the rest of their food is like.

When I go I eat yeast rolls, bourbon chicken, mac and cheese and chocolate chess pie lol just loads of it

I think we have a Golden corral that was opened about a year after the pannini a few towns away, but I haven't been. I don't want to do any sort of buffet with all the cooties out there. People are gross and I don't trust people to not go out when sick or be clean at places like that. I like having lots of leftover dinner rolls because they are nice to use to make a french toast bake or bread pudding casserole. Just scramble up a bunch of eggs, throw some sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla in there. Mix it all together and put in a greased casserole and bake for about 45 min and top with icing sugar and you get a nice cheap and easy dessert.

Kid meal for years. Chi cken legs, mashed potatoes, bowl of cherry tomatoes and soft serve. Every time. They were happy.

My school took us to Golden Coral on a field trip. All I remember is my friend getting nothing but macaroni and mashed potatoes.

One thing about Golden Corral is that each buffet differs so much from location to location. I personally really enjoy their fried chicken. I think when you eat in and catch it when it's fresh, its crispy, juicy and delicious. But at the end of the day, Golden Corral is really just a "fill the hole" type place. Like, its edible and you can get enough items on your plate that are ok and fill the hole. LOL

Typical stuffing seasoning is poultry seasoning which is thyme rosemary and sage! Now I want some stuffing

Can’t BELIEVE u didn’t try the Pot Roast. I’m in NC & that’s literally the only thing I go there for and the salad bar. Their salad bar is always so fresh & they make their own bleu cheese, my Fav salad dressing & it’s AMAZING!

I used to call GC food nursing home food. My aunt works at a nursing home and I'd go visit some of the people staying there. Literally the same food.

The golden carrol by me is pretty good. I kNow a lot of the pies are brought in like u see at the grocery. I think the cookies brownies are made in house. For the blueberry pie not sure. I love there fried chicken. For other stuff Nkt really sure but I don’t get a lot when I go. They have cinnimin apples which are really good

I live for your videos, Timmy, especially since I can never eat the foods you review on your channel. After I had some medical issues in 2019, I had to give up so many foods to watch carbs and sodium. So I just watch your videos and live vicariously through your happiness! LOL Actually, for better or worse, though, GC is exactly what a buffet is. I think what you are thinking of (higher quality or stature) is a brunch type. It is absolutely as Middle America as you can get, I suppose, in terms of its "target audience." Where I live it closed in the pandemic and then had delivery and then pickup and now it is back. It was actually nice to go there for Thanksgiving, because I got there very early. Not a lot of people and the servers are always very nice on that day for sure (they also have Christmas Eve). It was my "cheat day" of sorts because I cannot have that sort of food anymore. I think they overdid your cookies. They usually are pretty soft and one of my fave desserts there (along with the chocolate mousse pie). The meatloaf they gave you looks more like salisbury steak. Generally it has ketchup on top and looks very different. I usually like the pot roast, fish (not breaded), and popcorn shrimp.
