My family and I went to ihop and my daughter and I had breakfast. It was DELICIOUS. My husband had the turkey and stuffing dinner and said he will NEVER to ihop ever again. I asked him who the heck goes to ihop for anything but breakfast?!? 😂😂😂
Sounds like something my uncle would do. Go to a burger place, order lobster, say it's the worst place ever and never go back. Go to an Italian restaurant, order kids meal tacos, declare it the worst place ever and never go back. And on, and on, and on. So annoying, lol
A slim chance at that 😩 lmao, the last time I went I had the weirdest experience. The waitress called me poor because my boyfriend paid for our food. We got another waiter who kept bringing us another tables orders. And my pancakes came out not what I ordered lmao, they straight up told me they didn’t know how to make the advertised pancakes. It was an annoying night for sure, but by the end of it I was just amused 😂 like what are the odd that everything that could go wrong, did, and then just kept going.

IHOP has its place in the food industry. I still absolutely love their pancakes, they're French toast, if you go to IHOP for breakfast and stick to it you'll get some good stuff.

You're a bigger person than I am. I would not have accepted any of this food. First, what if you were allergic to eggs? Either this Ihop just doesn't give a shit or they had a new kid in the kitchen who didn't know what they were doing. The only to go I've ordered from Ihop is pancakes and bacon which came together in a bowl but that wasn't that big of a deal. All of these things look horrible lol
At this point I'm more surprised when my order is correct than when it isn't. I order out once or twice a week and only 2x in the last few months has my order been correct or complete. Last time I ordered tropical smoothie, they forgot the smoothies. Paid for 4 smoothies and one bowl. Received one bowl. Tried to call, no answer. Reached out via their website, no response, then literally 3 months later I received a $5 gift card for tropical smoothie, no note attached. 😂 NEVER got a refund either, and their smoothies are $6+ 🤦♀️ Now I'll really never go back 😂
As someone who used to work at a chain restaurant To Go orders especially big orders are given the least priority regarding the quality of the food. You WILL be getting the piece of chicken or steak that was overcooked, the salad that was made who knows when and the side that's left over from the in house tickets. Especially during rush hours. Cooks usually save the fresh good food for the people that dine in. That piece of chicken you had that was dry was probably extra and left sitting to the side of the grill until your To Go order came in.
@@freyjauwu3894 I don't mean to be a killjoy, and we have seen some of Timmy's videos where he gets good quality food, but you are definitely rolling the dice when getting To Go from sit down chain restaurants. What I would recommend is ordering during the slow period. Dinner rush usually starts around 7 pm in most places ends around 9. Do not order close to the closing time either because that's when cleaning products get brought out and most cooks will really put minimum effort and will take any shortcut to just get the order over and done with. Just some friendly advice.
The only time I've ever had IHOP is at 3 am drunk with my friends. I honestly didn't know they had anything else but breakfast, but it is hard to read the menu when you're hammered. 🤣

When I was younger, and first moved to Florida, I worked for my uncle at IHOP and I learned the ways of getting loaded fries! We used to add diced ham from the omelets, crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, and ranch over the fries and it's still one of the best things I've ever had from IHOP to this day! 🥰
That being said, this was many years ago, I'm sure their ranch was better back then? Also OMG I'm sorry that this taste test defeated you so! You deserve nothing but deliciousness!

I'm surprised the turkey didn't come with gravy. You can get instant red potato that has bits of skin in them. Idahoan Baby Reds Mashed Potatoes does and that brand of instant mashed potato isn't bad. They have several different flavors too. Maybe you could buy them all and other brands like Betty Crocker and see what is best. The instant mashed face off. You can get them in little packets too and it's pretty cheap.

the only thing I ever ordered from ihop was a breakfast burrito that was 90% potato. lol I'm glad you said the steak tips were good cause I wanted to try them.

I haven't had IHOP in years because their food had a plastic-y smell, almost like I was eating flavored candles mixed with food. If I want diner food, I go with Denny's or something local.
I literally live a walk from IHOP & ate breakfast there once & that was no biggie. When my kids were it was fine for waffles & stuff. So thanks for the review... still not going 🙃

I would ask for CREDIT on 3-4 meals given all that was wrong ! Burrito, Chicken , Chicken , Bowl all had issues - just sayin'; These meals I feel were way overpriced and a lot errors along with plain old quality issues
90% of what ihop serves is microwaved (including the turkey) lol.. I worked there for 2 years. It comes in frozen, portioned out and then thrown into the microwave.
Some places just shouldn't do delivery platforms. Clearly IHOP has no game plan for consistent quality and decent presentation never mind order accuracy. If I was truly hungry and they sent me that mess I would definitely be getting a full refund and the review they would get from me ...let's just say it wouldn'tbe cute. IHOP delivery... NEVER!!!!
I’m from New Mexico too! I lived in Albuquerque but born in Las Cruces. And yeah that’s not a “New Mexican” burrito where are the hatch chilies or the red and green sauce.
Wow, that was a pretty rough taste test, lol. They screwed up your items so much! I only eat breakfast stuff at IHOP, their lunch/dinner stuff always looks on par with Denny's (which I don't like). At least there were a couple items that you liked! 💜
I am a server at Dennys so we do WAY better than IHOP in our to go orders. I'm sorry that you are so disappointed. But it might also depend on the location. Some IHOPS are better than others, same with Dennys and Dunkin Donuts. I worked primarily at a high praised high starred location but there was one day that I had to go to another location to help out and it was horrendous. The Donuts were stale hockey pucks. So it just may be the location that you got this order from.
I used to go to IHOP prior to the pandemic and then haven't been back since I used to get just a plain cheeseburger it was actually okay I had a dinner once and it was okay it wasn't anything too carry on too much about but you really need to go to breakfast route with IHOP and perhaps a hamburger
