Danny is too polite and too kind hearted to whack Pino's out of the park. the drinks cabinet was bare , the front counter cabinet was almost as bare , no giant menu display, just a take out menu pushed towards him. Freezer commercial twisty fries, packet grated cheese ....not melted either. dirty windah's , no queue ... that is a tell tale warning. You can add chilli but you can't take it away, the customer should have the choice. Whoever recommended this place is not getting a second chance I bet. 7 was very generous IMHO . It's not what you say, it's what you don't say that tells the story. And the nosey next door guy was not doing himself any favours, almost "what are you doing?" I'd have said, "Do you own the pavement pal?" So that's a "Don't bother with Pino's and the place next door either" from me .
I lived in Hudds for about 4 years in the late 90's (Lindley near the hospital) and loved the place. Loads of 'characters' like the bloke with the dog and generally nice down to earth people. Biggest gripe was I couldn't get fish and chips that wasn't cooked in animal fat (I eat fish but not meat) but think that's the norm across Yorkshire unless things have changed since.
I'm afraid with me first impressions do count, dirty windows and paintwork, weeds and foliage growing, a definite no no. Detail and cleanliness filter down to the product quality.
Exactly! If the public areas look scruffy and dirty then what are the unseen kitchens like? If a place looks unkempt/ scruffy/ dirty walk away because the kitchen will be the same. Guaranteed!
@@REAL-NEWS-REAL-PEOPLE There are times the burgers are good. Unfortunately, majority of the times it's disappointing. I haven't ate there in awhile and don't think I plan to. The 1 thing that annoys me is how she always accept money wearing gloves and whenever I recieve my change its damped in grease.

Wrong pinos Danny the one you want is in lockwood and it's the chicken burgers that are decent but it's not what it used to be gone down hill big time. Good work as always
I'm from Huddersfield and I know that shop. I ate there couple of times and if you're lucky, burgers are at 8 best. This depends on the mood of the cook and you're actually right, she handles the money while wearing gloves. So when I receive my change or card it's damped in grease. Overall I give it a 5.5 and would i recommend it? Only if the cook isn't lazy.

Danny… you were there for the burger…. To be honest ….. it was a solid 3…. Do not mince your words….you gave a take away in Scotland… a 2….and 1 was for the Irn bru !! Your opinion means a lot to your subscribers……in MY OPINION that didn’t look like a solid 7….if truth be told…… A 7 would send some people to try it….and if it’s not the cleanest place…. Does it really need supported in its present state !!!!

There are people out there who love the channel…and respect his opinion..but don’t need to agree with it…. I am sure if he has the chance…he would revue his score on that particular takeaway…..ITS NOT a serious issue.. It’s a great platform…and any criticism is constructive….I shall continue to watch this marvellous channel…laugh…and YES….disagree with scores… If I think he has put his nice head on in certain cases……
True, but in their defence I would point out that being so incredibly close to such a busy road means they probably do get a lot of dust and exhaust and stuff buffeting their exterior a lot more than most places.

Yeah they have 3 in Huddersfield. The one in Lockwood got refurbed then burnt down like a week after. Now they have the building next door to it as well which has been since re done. Definitely something dodgy
A takeaway should look spotless outside and inside I wouldn't touch this one with a barge pole,if they cannot keep the out side clean what's the kitchen like
