McDonalds Diet Coke is the best. As a frequent soda drinker, I do not switch between coke and Diet Coke on a regular basis but I do switch between Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi depending on if I’m drinking it from a fountain, bottle, or can as they all taste different

Lol I was raised in the 80's with a mom who was perpetually on a diet, so the only soda I ever drank as a kid was diet coke. So now, i can ONLY drink diet coke (or pepsi). I think regular soda is gross. Lol

Also, the "P" generally means Pepper, as in Dr. Pepper (or in the old days, Mr. Pibb). Sometimes they also use it for Root Beer, if that's an option.

I was raised in a house with a never ending supply of soda. My dad spent the first half of my childhood working for corporate Coke and then halfway through his career switched to Pepsi. Luckily, the sugar always made me feel sick so I was never a big fan. My brother was the one that struggled, he’d drink an entire two liter a day every day in high school and STRUGGLED when he finally decided to give it up. Although he drinks it sparingly now since he does now work for Pepsi lol We were also a very popular trick or treat house amongst young boys growing up. My dad would sit outside with a bowl of candy and a cooler of those mini cans of soda. One of my brother’s friend eventually pulled up a chair and helped my dad hand out treats just so he could sit and continually drink mini sodas all night.

Was addicted to Pepsi from in my day 1 until I was in college. Woke up in cold sweat if I didn't have enough. My mother told me it was the only thing that she could stomach when she was pregnant with me so from my beginning it was a problem. Gave it up now nothing labeled cola for me but switched to having a drpepper when stressed.

Ya I’m not a pop drinker either but my brother has to drink Diet Coke for medical reasons and when out at restaurants my parents would make me try it make sure it was diet before he drank it, when we were kids. They only drink diet but can’t tell the difference. Love your videos and enjoy seeing them!

Looking gorgeous in the blue!! I'm a diet soda ONLY drinker. No switching it up here. But I grew up that way with only diet soda options. Regular is too sweet and feels like straight up syrup.

I love pop/soda. Diet coke is my fave and I've been drinking it 20+ years. I don't know what people are talking about when they say diet coke at Mcdonalds is better. The quality does vary (like anywhere with a soda fountain) and when the syrup level is optimal and the CO2 is fresh its very good. Just like any other place with a soda fountain that is well maintained. When the syrup is low or the CO2 isn't working right it's kinda crappy at McDonalds. Again, just like any other place w a soda fountain. IMHO

I flip back and forth. My favorite is to mix them. 3/4 diet, 1/4 regular. Also, can v bottle v fountain are all totally different.

Coke if it's fountain, Pepsi if it's slushy. Diet never - aspartame has been shown to cause atherosclerosis. Also, US pop tastes very different from pop here in Canada. Thank you for another fun video.

Used to drink “normal” (sugary) sodas all the time but recently began drinking only diet and/or the zero sugar versions of coke and Pepsi cuz I have an eating disorder and feel like crap ab myself if I have even anything remotely unhealthy and having a normal soda would make me feel like crap ab all that sugar. Also, if you’re looking for a different taste test idea, the zero sugar versions taste better, to me at least, than the diet versions of coke and Pepsi. The flavored diet versions (ie cherry, strawberry, etc.) are the way to get some sweetness in that more “watered down” flavor I’m sure you experienced in the Diet Coke you tried.

As a type 1 diabetic who can't drink sugary drinks.. i have to get diet coke from Mickey D's .. now i can tolerate diet coke from there better than i can tolerate drinking diet coke from the can which i absolutely HATE!! but ironically regular Coke is probably my favorite non diet drink. I hate when restaurants ONLY have diet coke as their "diet" drink.. that's why i prefer places with the "freestyle" machine where you can pick MANY other options besides "one" option... but yeah diet coke is trash.

I'm a huge pepsi fan, if I'm drinking soda it's almost always Cherry Pepsi or normal Pepsi. I can drink diet soda, just not my preference. Other non pepsi's are fine, coke, dr p, etc.

As someone who wasn’t allowed to drink pop, I was youngest and they kinda gave up eventually but only thing they ever had was Diet Coke so now it’s only pop I drink and I hate all other pop lol I feel like your either addicted to it or don’t drink it all. And the reason it’s Diet Coke is because they use aspartame as sweetener instead of sugar lol

Regular Coke is the only way to go! Mickey Ds and Chick-fil-A have the best!! Chick-fil-A has that good ice and in a styrofoam cup *chef’s kiss* can’t beat it. If a restaurant has Pepsi products I’ll just drink water.

Diet Coke and all other diet drink are horrible because of the artificial sweeteners. That chemical filmy taste you were talking about is those sweeteners. I only ever drink regular coke if I drink soda.

I always drink Diet Coke cause I prefer the taste over regular. Regular is to cinnamon-y to me lol. I like regular or Diet Pepsi. I used to work at Applebees where they have Pepsi products, so that’s what I preferred since I would drink Diet Pepsi a lot. But now I work at a restaurant that has coke products so I drink Diet Coke more

So glad you went and got a regular coke as well. Diet coke is nasty. Anything with aspartame (or ass part of me, as I call it) is nasty and also not good for you. I only drink coke, not pepsi, and not diet. I prefer fountain coke over bottled, weird I know. Also did you know in the North America it's made with corn syrup and europe with sugar. ALso the artificial ingredients that they use in north America are banned in Europe.
