Despite these being the ugliest mail shape your glitter application really helped to de-emphasize their width and help make them much less ugly 😁

Eeeek! No thank you!. Yes, every time you said "duck nails" I immediately filled in the "OOooo!" Even before you mentioned it. Lol. I didn't watch it, but my much younger siblings did. It was definitely a catchy tune. Much nicer than those nails. Lol. I am a traditionalist for my nails. I have always liked a gently rounded semi almond shape, not too pointy. Pretty, but still usable. Not too terribly long, either. Usually just a bit longer than fingertip length. I love the way long nails look. I have tried them a few times, but only for a day or so, because I just couldn't do much. It is definitely interesting to see the new "in" shapes. I think duck nails will not be popular long, thank goodness. Lol. Thank you for showing this new shape.

Yeah, it's a no from me lol. Imo nail extensions should make your fingers look longer and thinner. Duck nails do the opposite of that. Though I do love the glitter you used! ✨️ 😍 And yes, I definitely remember watching Duck Tales 😄. It used to come on every day after I got home from school. I think the cool thing about duck nails are interesting because they have a lot of nail estate to do art on and they can be read from far away. Like, you can see the nail art from further away

The duck nail trend has to go. Never will they be on my nails while I am alive. I have seen people with their natural nails that grew like that, but they kept their nails shorter. I cannot imagine how wide they would have been if they had let them grow out. I'm not a nail tech, just tend to notice other people's nails quite often. I love the shape. I’ve been doing this one off and on since the 80’s……curved nails since then as well, when you do it right it doesn’t look as bad as that hand you popped up there.. which shocked me even me. They have to be done correct or they suck. 😂😂

Duck nails offer a lot of “nail estate” for art. Some people want whatever is “new” or “controversial.” I have seen some from nail artists that are attractive from an art perspective. I could never wear them though!

I do my nails every 2 weeks I do press ons I paint them first then you super strong nail glue to stick them on and My fave nails are stiletto I have chubby fingers so they make my fingers slender and my husband likes a back scratch with them haha 😂 mg second fave are long coffin nails with a really deep C curve ❤

This is a nail shape that I'm all too familiar with. My natural nails are narrow and curved at the cuticle, but my free edges get wide and flat, which means that my nailbed's shape is very wonky that way. It happens to my middle and ring fingers. The nails on my index fingers grow downwards on ONE SIDE only, and my pinkies and thumbs grow straight and normal. Talk about weird.

I avoid square nails because I have long nail beds that are quite wide so I have to size up and square often looks duck on my fingers and I hate it but weirdly when I do it, I get loads of compliments 🤷🏼‍♀️😆

I don’t know anyone who likes them or has them. I just did my first set of modern (Russian) almond nails (on me) I started out using dual forms thinking it would be easier and so I could learn how to structure them correctly. By my last nail it was sculpted. They are all a bit wonky but practice makes perfect 👍🏻

I used to not like ballerina nails, but now it's my favorite shape, but because it enhances the beautiful shape of the fingers. They look elongated and classy. Whenever I use those gel nail stickers, I soak them in warm water and they come right off. They were from a set of Sally Hansen press ons though.. so I don't know about the temu ones.

I love the glitter art, but not the shape. My hair stylist, who I started going to in 2012, used to always have duck nails and I thought they looked ridiculous.

Just because something becomes popular doesn't mean it is aesethically pleasing that's for sure. Ugly is the word that comes to mind for me.
