Great video! That's a pretty natural color to use in that stained water. Have you ever used solid black? Really stands out in those conditions, esp if you're imitating a crab/shrimp/crawler along the bottom. Solid white is great for baitfish imitations!

yer they don't have many colours in the squidgy range. I have used dark colours before in other baits when it gets that dirty but thats all I had. and seem to do the trick cheers for the comment

Tim can you get live shrimp / prawns for bait? Or even GULP shrimp? I wonder if a popping cork & shrimp would work on these jacks you have? Are you familiar with popping cork set up?

Have you tried z-man 4 inch swimmers? Also you should use a small zerek live shrimp because jacks love them up north.

Ive only been able to catch 1 Mangrove jack here in Guam. If i had a kayak id be able to travel up the main river and not just the mouth to get to them and the catfish.

Dead guy's tackle box. Love it. Any reason why you don't use simple rod holders, or something to attach your tackle box to? Looks like a recipe for disaster, lying rods down with no railing. Anyway, cool video.

havent had an issue for the last 18month on the raft. rod holders restrict casting angles when trying to skip lures under trees and what not. the new raft will have everything below deck

Hey mate, how do you get both your Daiwa reels full with braid? Because they never seem to sell the right amount of braid to go on the reels. Are you just using a lot of backing? Because I have on if those reels and it is only halfway full the spool.

enddy ahmad The size of the solar panel he would need to get decent charge into a battery. you would be better of putting that weight into a higher Amp hour battery and go for longer

Krausy’s fish hunting not true, especially when he is stationary casting for around 20-30% of the time even with a 100 wat panel he would increase his range by 20-50% depending on how often he chills and casts

ok ill check it out i just finished restoring a quinny fishabout mkII i got from a retired fella at coomera. it come with a 3 cylndar 40hp 2stroke yamaha with front controlls. all painted up fishfinder radio and saftey gear. its a great little run about.
