I have a black halter dress with white polka dots on it. It is ugly. Lol but I was the first "real" dress I ever bought (I was 19) I'm 32 and I will never wear it.

You may considered putting all the hangers backwards to start. That way next spring, anything still facing the wrong ways shows you what you don’t reach for. It’s my usual advice and I don’t always take it.

I did a similar process. I have legitimate OCD and couldn’t have the hangars not facing, so I used thin craft tape and made tags on the base of the hook of the hangar. Tore the tag off when I wore the garment. After the year, I pulled everything I didn’t wear and donated or other...

Loved this to be honest. It was just so fun. Felt like we were hanging out and talking about clothes haha. My favorites were the things you seemed to like least lol. For me though, I totally get why you didn’t want them anymore but I want them! Lol. My favorites were the black, red and white EXPRESS sweater, the black ASOS sweater and the checkered Target cardigan. I NEED that cardigan. Seriously. Can’t wait for part 2!

Decisivelyjules i was thinking the same thing about that cardigan! I spied one very similar at a store the other day and thought it was cute but put it back cause i was hesitant (i didn't bother trying it on, just saw it on the hanger) but seeing this one on her i'm going to have to go back and get the one i saw!

I have a hoarding rule for myself. I limit the number of hangers I have in my closet and if I run out, then I have to choose something to get rid of. It helps so much to prevent clutter.

I need to do this to my closet but I am also a little terrified to since I am pregnant right now and basically nothing "sparks joy" for me in there at all. Well, maybe a few of the actual maternity shirts I bought but omg I hate maternity jeans. Maybe I can just go through the mass amount of t-shirts that I have. Can't wait for part 2.

I got like that after high school. I got sick of wearing black, band tees and dark colours constantly. I kept my band tees though, I just styled them differently. Now my closet is colorful and fun cute clothes.

My trick to keep sentimental pieces is to have a BOX in storage with the pieces that have real meaning (the first dress I bought with my salary, baby stuff, others) don't keep it in your closet with your regular clothes. By having to move it to a different space you will be more strict with stuff to keep. Aside from that, I LOOOOVVVEEEE all your sweaters ❤️💕

Tracey Lynn that sounds so cute! Even paired with dark wash pants with an animal print belt would be such a dressy, business yet still edgy and stylish look! There'd be so many options with that shirt and you can style it in such different ways to get such different looks, i love it!

I had to pause the video because you can’t hear me shouting at you. KEEP THE SNOOPY SWEATER!!! Ok, hear me out. You have family in Houston, if you go to Houston during the holidays it could be 70-80 degrees. You will want something thin and still Christmasy. Trust me on this. I grew up there and had Christmas t-shirts because there were some unfortunate years we were wearing shorts on Christmas Day. And...it’s snoopy. Ok...now I’ll start the video again. ☺️

Keep leapard blouse.... Get rid of things that are just casual that's peeling keep your nice items darling especially if they are new with tags. Reverse the hangers if next year you have not worn it then let it go I do it every season 👏🏼🙋🏻🤗🤗

I lost it at the third double-ruffle sweater! 😂 like I wish there was a little scoreboard at the bottom for keeping, maybe, and not keeping. Then as the double-ruffles come out they would get their own place on the scoreboard! 😅 This is what I'm here for.
