"...when you get accepted to The Bachelor," she says like appearing on The Bachelor is just something every young adult goes through at some point LOL.
Happy Toffee it's am American tv show, with one bachelor and a group of women who all try to get with the bachelor, and each week one woman gets voted out
Wait, didn't hear that part yet, SIZE UP To a small???!!! size up from where exactly?! if i'm under a small, it must be the dress's fault, i won't need any sizes up lol.
The look at the beginning with the hair, bangs, and butterfly clips remind me of early 2000s vibes of Disney channels Lizzie McGuire and Hannah Montana style😁
"I'm not gifted up top so I have nothing to hold anything up" as someone who would probably generally be considered gifted up top I can say that strapless shit doesn't really work for me either because most of the time my chest is to heavy and has no support once or ever without straps. And the fabric falls down regardless. Have you ever seen a girl in a strapless top or dress that doesn't continuously have to hike it up? So here's my hypothesis: unless there is a corset involved no girl can fearlessly wear strapless things. Does anyone know if strapless things work for guys?
Julia Redbird I’m on the kinda gifted up top criteria and I can wear strapless shirts no problem but I feel like strapless dresses are just to heavy to stay up because of all the fabric
Hi, guy here. Strapless gowns always seem to require the occasional hike up, but a figure-hugging fabric / lace up back / corset bodice will require less of it throughout the night. The lighter the skirt the better, since there's less pulling on the gown. A true corset can be worn underneath to provide even better support, so long as the gown is adjustable / tailored against your corset. Even though my chest is much wider than my waist, this is largely irrelevant because it's the outward slope of the bust that provides support and I have none (guy lol), so strapless things are mostly supported by the curves between my waist and hips. The greater the difference between your hip and waist measurement the more support you have for strapless gowns, especially mermaid styles because they hug all the way over the hip. A bust provides some additional support for the gown, mainly for the fabric above your waist, but like with anything a bust can only provide as much support as it's given. This means that some bust shapes and sizes will offer more natural support than others. The takeaway is that some body types have it easier, but any body type can fearlessly wear strapless, so long as your gown is well-fitted to your body and is given adequate support. (for reference, my measurements are 34" chest / 26" waist / 36" hips / size 2-6)
I’m a medium chest type of girl and strapless things work pretty well on my body. I may be considered small to some people but yeah I think as a C-cup strapless items work well
@@hannah.montana2194 For half a minute I think she would have been fine. Not like she needed to be jumping around in it. And she also said she wanted to try on different styles so people can see for themselves how it would look. Now we do NOT know how the straps would look when they are down.
You can never be overdressed or over educated. Wear that dress to the mall and pretend you're famous girl, life is short and nobody's getting hurt except those blinded by your beauty!
Would anyone else be interested in seeing Mia try going to second hand/vintage/thrift stores to find cute prom dresses?? It would be a way to show you can get cute, affordable, and environmentally friendly dresses! Anyone else think so? 💕
I've been looking at that blue satin Cinderella dress for months now for my senior prom and I'm so glad you tried it because it looks so good and I think I need it now!💙
You look exactly like I thought I looked in the early 2000s wearing this make up and the little butterfly clips and everything! But looking at my old pictures, I looked nothing like this😂 but at least I felt bomb!
Charlotta McCharliston be we didn’t have real pallets or makeup brushes or really any of it lol... just blue shadow w a sponge tip applicator and lipmsmackers (this look was more 97 for me lol)
Charlotta McCharliston JA KLAR! but I don’t remember actually using them. Alto I do remember prom and people having body glitter so that was def a thing. Also hallo wie gehts? Welkommen! Hhahah
For a being a small boobs girl whenever there’s a built in bra I try it out without my regular bra to see how I look but then I’m even more flat in it so now for prom I’m just gonna wear my bra and the back part of my dress is gonna show it, I even looked for a sticky bra online and in stores and they’re always out 😔
I have already bought with them. At first they were not under the name of Ivrose. I know because I was notified when they did change their brand name but I don't remember what name it was at first. I went on their website and ordered a pretty pink dress. It was really expensive, I bought it for 40 dollars. When it came home, I was really disappointed. It has a really bad and cheap fabric. I Do not recommend it at all.
Love the red sequin dress! I went to a private all girls school and I remember we had to submit a picture of us with the dress on for approval! Don’t think the red dress woulda made it haha
Thecelebritydresses.com They have dupes for dresses worn by celebrities on the red carpet. However they are pretty inexpensive for such a dress. They have reviews as well as pictures by customers.
Please do a closet tour or anything related to it since you must be having a lot of crazy stuff from videos like this so it'd be great to see which ones you kept and which ones you didn't
Sameee, like i dont even wear makeup etc, but Mia's vid is just so entertaining to watch ahaha, it honestly feels like I'm facetime-ing a friend and she's excited about makeup and reviewing prom dresses hahaah
I keep saying to myself things like "omg this is so Mia." "This totally fits her perfectly" and I've never met you. That's so funny to me😂😂 your personality is so bubbly and almonst addictive and contagious! So darn cute. You, your family, your style, your humor. I justt hnnng cant
I want to know what clip on bangs those are. my hair is almost the same shade as yours and it’s very hard to find clip on extensions that actually match my natural blonde shade
We wore that silvery/blue floor length dress but in the pink colour as bridesmaid dresses for my best friends wedding, and it looked divine! So pretty!
Cant say it enough, its so weird that im so interested in a girls life and a girls opinions and having fun On. The. Other. Side. Of. The. World👏. But I won't stop. But mia I found you because of promdresses and I LOVE these! You've been growing so much and you've been so inspiring in these years and I'm living for it.
Super CUTE I LOVE IT. That was my 90s LOOK I always had those butterfly clips I even had the butterfly clips with the wings that “fluttered” like little coil springs that made them flap their wings.
13:54 THE GREY DRESS LOOKED SO GOOD ON HER YES QUEEN 😩 *edit just wanted to thank all 76 of u who liked my comment, the first time i’ve ever got likes on a comment on youtube 🥺🥺🥺*
Miaaaaaa! Girlll, you looked amazing in all the dresses. But the red dress & the shimmery grey dress were made for you! Definitely find an event to wear them to 💖✨✨✨💃
At 11:45 you look straight up from a fairytale. You're gorgeous and I admire you so much. I love the fact that you're so sweet and genuine. You're doing a great job with your RU-vid channel. I really look up to you! Lots of love! ❤️
You should try on prom dresses from Quiz!! Their dresses look good and they are at a reasonable middle range price - I think it would be really cool to check them out. Thanks! x
I loved this video! I definitely would love to see another dramatic dress haul like this one. Maybe not prom but just formal or event outfits. The last one is soo pretty if you close your eyes completely, really saw it in a whole new light....🤣🤣🤣 Can’t wait for more videos. ❤️❤️❤️
*Video begins, Mia appears* Me: *immediately flashes back to being a kid in the late 90s/early naughties* All that's missing is some body glitter for your cheeks! 😁
I always laugh a little when you say you're not gifted in the boot when you are in fact gifted. 😂 You have something for skin tight clothes to cling to and that's a lot more than you think!
Would looove if you could do the website promgirl! My prom is coming up, and as much as I live the styles and prices, scared to see if they actually come in the mail like they look in the picture, and would be awesome if you could also walk through the experience you had with purchasing through them. Love you and all your videos! And they you so much for the always amazing content ^^ 💜 Edit: Thank you all so much for your help with this ;~;
I ordered a dress from there before back when I was looking for dresses for my senior prom, it looked just like how it did on the model and I liked it, but one of the fabric pieces that was around my neck (it was a halter top) irritated my sensitive skin but otherwise it’s a reliable place I think but again I only got one dress from there
i went to prom last year and my dress was almost $600 without it being tailored and over $600 with it and it looks almost exactly like that blue satin dress and i feel so much regret rn 😭😭😭😭
That liquid silver/blue gown was beautiful. I can imagine it with long shimmery earrings. While proms and weddings are not in my future, I do love seeing these gowns. As for what to try next, anything affordable is always appropriate but it might be fun to try on a few pricey items to check out the trends.
‼️‼️Windsor is such a good place to get a dress they have soo many cute dresses that look exactly like the ones for $300+ and they’re mostly under $100! I got mine for $60 y’all
You should try David’s bridal! Also these are my second favorite videos you make, the remodeling videos you made for your grandmas room and grandparents house are my favorite 💕
I'm really happy that you started to buy the size XS because it truly makes the dresses fit you a lot better and then we'll also know we have to size up for one! Keep up the good work.
Nooooo clothes shopping seriously stresses me out lol, I’m not like some tomboy who’s just against fashion and stuff, Im very girly, just buying stuff and trying to find things that look good is hard!
