Abit late to the party but your vid finaly convinced me to get a sample of Al Ameed and i absolutely love it. It's not as sweet as most middle-eastern frags but just smells so good... Gona get a full bottle soon!^^

I have a sample of Awaan. I think you nailed it. Pleasant scent, but a full bottle would be redundant in my collection. I have Fakhar, and I like it more. However, I'm happy to have a travel size. It'll be handy for traveling. Overall, I adore these new 20ml samples from Lattafa. They are small, light, they don't break, and they hold quite a lot of juice. I'm really interested in getting more of them.

Yes, Fakhar I feel like it has something that makes is more sophisticated and a tad more elevated while Awaan to me is the more playful and girly version of it. What other fragrances from this line are you interested in trying? 💫

@@AFragrantGlance Fakhar Lattafa, Pride of Lattafa or Fakhar Rose - This could be a dupe for L'Interdit by Givenchy, but I prefer the Lattafa. Very tuberose and ylang ylang with a little pomegranate and amboxan. Feminine, Love it! Lattaffa Velvet Rose - Like a lady like pink Rose and oud with a labdanum base. Has a classic chypre quality to it but with a bit of fruity rosey-ness. Sophisticated, but modern, feminine, pretty. Oud for Glory - OUD and more oud! Which I love! Some freshly ground nutmeg brinks an inky-ness to the oud and the lavender brightens it up so that it isn't just a woody spicy fragrance. The patchouli and musk cozy it up. Perfection! Mysterious, alluring, Unisex. Oud Mood - Saffron and pimento blend to create a dry barely there rose up front then the nutmeg and patchouli blend in there. Definitely has some spiciness and the caramel adds a slight sweetness, not in a candy like way but more to warm it up and smooth and soften it out. Cozy, yet sexy, unisex. I love the Lattafa brand, the quality of blending is great. The bottles and packaging are in a league of their own! I really feel like I am have an experience when I smell their fragrances, from opening to wearing. Some complain of longevity, but I have found if you apply enough and a little on clothes, it lasts on me anyway, quite a long time. Love this fragrance house. (I'm going to put these reviews in fragrantica as I have written so much about them here🙂)

Loved reading your thoughts on the fragrances, thank you for sharing them! 🌷 I was so curious to try Velvet Rose, I have heard mixed feedback about it but the way you described it made me so curious, I will look for a sample. I'm glad to hear you enjoy Lattafa fragrance, this was the first house I started to explore after I discovered middle eastern fragrances and they really do have beautiful creations with very fair prices💫

Maaharjan Gold by Lattafa is a delicious gourmand. My other favorite is Areeq Gold it’s a clone of Crystal Saffron by Matière Premières. Hidden gems!!

Tharwah needs maturation time and I agree its fabulous on clothing and on skin not so much. After several months of maturation it is extremely long lasting, and no alcohol smell. I was wondering what it might be duping? I think its maybe a stand-alone. Awaan is gorgeous, it's an easy, no-brainer and very much a crowd pleaser in a good way. I keep a back up bottle of it.

Someone in the comments told me it's supposed to dupe Libre by YSL. I agree, Awaan is very beautiful, a perfect easy reach day to day scent. ✨️

Awaan smells like pineapple musk and orange smells so good on skin give me about 8-10 hours for sure it was a blind by for me … pair with a body oil for sure …

Your wish is my command! Awaan is one of the few I still need to test (Tomorrow's Eternal Oud time!) But I did get a decant of *Tharwah Gold* and to me it's absolutely a dupe of Libre Intense, like 90%. Close but not a clone. I tested it twice with a few days in between and the fragrance stayed the same. (Maybe your pocketspray needs some Macerate & Chill 😎). It's just a softer variant, a little less heavy on the orange blossom and vanilla, but with a very warm jasmine to it (which is cooler in all the Libre's). I have ALL the real YSL's in the Libre line except for the Le Parfum, so to me it was 1. Easy to compare and 2. therefore also a disappointment because dupe. The SPL was also meh. Intimate projection and sillage on my skin during 11 degrees celcius. Maybe 2hrs of clear scent and then skin scent. Gone in 3. Libre and Libre Intense are one of my best performing perfumes, so that was a shame. So... yeah: except for the warm jasmine you mentioned I don't recognise *anything* you mentioned.🙄 Bubblegum? Nope. Grapejuice? No. Soapy, powdery? Nope. Cheap? Nope. It wasn't great on the SPL front, but the scent wasn't cheap. I think if anyone would've told me it was the EDT version of Libre Intense I would probably believe it (and if you check the notes next to one another it's very much in between Libre edp and Intense, closer to Intense). >> Weird eh, the difference a skin makes 😅.

Thank you for watching ❤🌹Personally I don't find it similar to Libre Intense, that one to me is much richer, less fresh and more sophisticated. Let me know what you think of it, I hope you'll enjoy it. 🥳I would advise you to spray it on your clothes if you don't enjoy how it smells on your skin, I find it much more balanced on clothes

I was very curious about this perfume and wanted to have it. But when I heard it smelled like YSL Libre Intense I didn't buy it. I have YSL Libre Intense and love it. But I don't need a dupe of it.😅

See my comment. To me it's a 90% dupe. But on my skin the performance was disappointing. Perhaps it does better when the temperature is higher. 😊

I haven't tried / owned many Guerlain fragrances, I used to use L'Instant de Guerlain back when it had the older bottles and I loved it and now Santal Royal. I've tested some of the regular more popular Guerlain fragrances that you find in Sephora but Samsara I never tried it 🤗 Let me know your thoughts on it if you try it 💓

Hi dear, nice review as always. I hv blind bought this Awaan but as i hv opened the cap i received blast of patchouli and i realised that i will not enjoy this fragrance. Whenever any perfume has this type of patchouli i feel like vomit nd stomach churn😢. I hv tried 2- 3 times but its not for me. Now it is in one corner of my cupboard.

I think Lattafa are inconsistent about their batches or samples vs full bottles. I got a samplecof Eternal oud and I loved it. It was very similar to grand Soir, which I have, but tend to save. So I got a full bottle and there are substantial differences between the two.

@@AFragrantGlance I did, but see no difference. My husband loves it, though, so no problem there, he showers in this fragrance. I also noticed a weird thing about this perfume. It makes a great room spray as it lingers on for hours after he's left, but when we go out I barely smell it on him, I sometimes catch a waft in the air, but not much. Interesting, isn't it?

I've experienced that with Khamrah. Big hype around this one everywhere. My batch doesn't deliver and I've had others try it too. Very poor performance. I hope mazeration will help.

I came to the conclusion that it depends on the batch, mine I'd say it's not a safe blind buy as it's not the smoothest one but I received a decant from someone with Tharwah Gold and it smelled much more balanced and smooth. Thank you for watching 🤗🌹
