Have you tried nara polymer clay which needs baking? I baked it for 35 minutes at 100dc in convection but it broke off on touching after cooling for 10-15 mins. Any idea why? How can I improve this?

Yes I've tried. Each clay had its own baking instruction, maybe you should stick with it. But I can also share with you a tip on how I do it, I knead the clay thoroughly and on baking, I bake it on a lower temp multiple times.

what surface can you dry it on? i tried to dry it on my table and on a metal shelf, it alwats sticks on the surface im drying it on no matter where i put it and it's not even that wet anymore

The one that I use in this video is an air dry clay, it is a no bake clay, just let it dry :)

I just leave it as it is. Just air dry it in an open area😊

A cake board, you can also use silicone mat :)

Ok maybe I got a bad one but mine collapses when I try to building anything that requires height. I did a mushroom but it deflated like a balloon. Only thing I can make with them are just pins. Should I just get a new nara clay?

That also happens to me when it's still wet. What I do is I constantly check it to reshape the deformed parts.

@@sacdelosreyes I did but it still collapsed. But I'm well over that clay now. I just use air dry crayola and a air dry foam clay from a company ifergoo.
