Btw the Torb buff is bigger than I think people realize because now there is more skill since using his primary fire can be more effective now then the shotgun.

It fell satisfying when you hit an enemy with the grenades when thier far a way and you stuck them with.

Is playing D'va into Bastion not way better than rein into Bastion? I find erasing damage is so much more useful than blocking it, i'd be eating bastion bullets, rein firestrikes, in fact Flats whole team is projectile based. Is it the lower rank I'm in? is it not a viable strat in GM?

He got buffed but they are minor changes but also needed to balance out how huge his hitbox is. Not sure about the armor healing though.

I love watching people play Bastion seriously and make him viable. He was my original main when I started playing years ago. Don't play quite as much anymore, but he's still my favorite character.

Bastion feels overall no different to me. The healing is so slow that it never changes any interactions, and it’s with the part of his kit that is already really good. Overall the rocket jumping nerf (literally 50% worse) has removed skill expression from an otherwise very 2d character. You used to be able to jump up to the chandelier on eichenwalde with just the grenade, now you don’t even get close. He still might as well not have an ultimate, and recon form is still just a punching bag. Edit: chandelier is still possible, but only barely and is pretty close to frame perfect

I wonder if this bastion is anywhere close to ironclad bastion.

Flats you cant be disrespecting Bastion ult when you are using it as if each missle does like 100 damage. He got ome 1 kill the whole video with it 😂. Like you should be able to secure a kill on an ana most of the time.

My main opinion on Bastion is that he's in a good spot, except for his ult, his ult is basically non-existent, no damage, easy to avoid, and Tank was a perfect ult for him, it provided a lot of options and I don't know why they changed it. I played bastion actually quite a bit in OW1 and have considered maining him multiple times throughout OW1 and 2, but the only thing putting me off is that ult, I loved using Tank and its not even as if it was broken, it was just, fun. You know what, imma start something here, #BringBackTank

Hey flats I have been usually a plat to a diamond player on console I made alt accounts to try and play with some friends but after meeting the requirements to get into ranked I wasn’t able to play with them I was in masters lobbies I just wanna know if you think it’s odd because I always thought I would be a trash player in high metal lobbies is ranked easier than it was in overwatch 1 My main account was always in low ranks including in overwatch 2

Just hit my first aimbot bastion in qp; the wall following is always the dead giveaway it seems. (and the super janky aim that is all of sudden good)

He still isn’t strong enough for higher ranks but your not gonna have much luck dealing with one as a tank unless your sigma or maybe Dva because even with Reins shield, He just melts it with ease and they made him harder to kill too so if you go at him and screw up, he can easily mess you up

as a bastion main i am VERY happy with the buffs. You now have a higher survivability without supports.

Bastion's ult definitely isn't great but your usage is also pretty bad. No disrespect, I know you're just vibin but there's definitely a lot of room for improvement. Any time the enemy team has Ana, that should be your go-to target. She's a free kill unless they use a suzu which is a good CD to bait anyway. Zarya is a lowkey top target too if you're counting her bubbles. She's pretty easy to get to one with Bastion ult given her low mobility. I used to use DF ult on her in OW1 in a similar way and it worked really well.
