the white vegetable is called 'sengkuang', its similar to radish, but it taste different, sengkuang is more juicier than radish

The white vege is called Jicama. The sauce is sweet because they use also sweet potatoes and other herbs and spices. The big square shaped food is called "fuchuk" or bean curd skin. I agree with you Chu, i cannot live without cendol.
