So you guys did Maokong, Jiufen, Raohe night market and Elephant Mountain all in ONE day?! ONE DAY?! 😯😯😯😯 I know Taiwan is small and convenient enough that you can pack many activities in one day but this itinerary is too much! 😂
We did, and definitely wouldn’t recommend cramming it into one day! We decided while we were at the top of the Maokong Gondola that we would try to make sunset at Jiufen, because it was too smoggy to enjoy around Taipei, but really wish we would have dedicated a full day to Jiufen! Especially because we spent ~2 hours to get there, and everything closed up about an hour and a half after we got there! 😂 But we were leaving to Sun Moon Lake the next day and didn’t want to leave it out - next time we’ll take it slower!
