We talk about this before I’m happy that jae did this episode, anyway the apple thing its depends about my condition sometimes i can see a whole apple and sometimes I can’t 🙃

Bruh I clearly remember as a kid, I was afraid of being kidnapped/robbed and I’d for some reason always have scary visions of myself getting kidnapped/robbed before going to sleep (like this seriously kept me up at night i have no idea why, I lived in a pretty safe neighbourhood😭) And then, my mom told me to just imagine a blank piece of paper and just focus on the paper untill I fall asleep but.... i remember it turning into like... crayon drawings of me getting kidnapped/robbed😔✌️twas a rough time. Now, I am suffering with terminal senioritis (the state of being a senior in highschool and not knowing what life is anymore😔) and cannot sleep at regular times :,D I’ve tried doing that thing where you count backwards from 1000 but I somehow do it so fast that I eventually give up or get distracted by my thoughts and ultimately, fail to fall asleep. Jae, I think it would be great if you did an episode on insomnia and sleeping habits and just.... how to sleep 😭 I think a lot of us in the comments (and yourself) need it✌️

i cant picture just an apple in my head but i can only picture it if it has a background (like on a table at a park) when im closing my eyes. i do picture an apple more clearly when im opening my eyes so what does that make me..?

i can relate to the paper folding thing these relaxation methods never work for me I get so distracted like i'll picture myself lying in a field to relax and three seconds later my mind is like what do i do if i need to go to the bathroom?? and then i think about what toilet i want in my field and once that problem is solved i'm like what if i get a tick from lying in the grass?? or what if i get hungry?? like can my brain just stfu for a minute😭

I tried to imagine the paper folding and I did it a bit faster (probably because I'm not trying to sleep right now). For some reason, the paper remains the same size after 2-3 folds. The same goes for when I try to mentally wind a string on a rod, it just won't end and it annoys me so much that I always end up not being able to sleep.

I got the same problem. I can’t visualize things if i’m purposely trying to. That’s why if I suddenly get an idea, I need to pour it down asap. Same thing happened when I tried to sleep and count jumping sheeps. I’d turn them into a world of sheeps or mochi. And knowing that I do drawing for living...........
