I never could get my 55 inch 4k to work properly with iRacing and it's either too huge or you sitting in the back-seat. It's just optimized for triples and VR i guess.
Pretty interesting stuff, but I‘m not that impressed by the hardware. Sim racing equipment has to be more for me than just reliable. Looks, finish and feel is very important too, at least for me. 😄 Constructive criticism on the edit...I think the background music is a bit too loud and therefore distracting. Other than that beautiful interview.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep in in mind for the next video. I'm still kinda exploring how to make this vids as enjoyable as possible. Regarding the looks of the pedals. I would agree for a simulator at home, but in this one the pedals can't be really seen at all by the customers, and the steering wheel looks fine, I think :-)
I tried the Vesaro D-Box with iRacing and didn't like it. Probably the setup was 'too much' at the Expo, but it felt wrong from the principle as well. Just the Stage 4 called Actoracer was really great with it's traction-loss and very fast actuators pushing you in the seatbelt while braking. Now i'm using a GS5 with some shakers and after tweaking the settings it feels IMO better than any D-Box-system.
well I didn't pick that, that's essentially a given. I picked only the track ;-) Is the McLaren that bad? For me it was really hard to tell, since literally every part of that simulator was new to me.
@@roletnabih Very interesting! Can you elaborate on what they said/ what they criticised about it? From my experience in the sim, I'd say I would expect a "sharper" front end that I can steer more precisely, and a more planted rear end. To me the rear just felt really snappy.
@@TheSimChannel Its not in written text. But during Lando's 24 Hour stream of Spa there is time stamps where he was just spectating and talking about it. He said handling is off and ERS is just wrong. You will have to go and watch stream that Lando did.
I looked for it but couldn't find it. Or at least I didn't find time stamps on twitch (I've never really watched anything there, so I might just need an info on where time stamps are on twitch).
