10 years ago, a trip to Baguio was a whopping *7-9 hours* from Manila! This 3 hours is a massive improvement tbh that I can’t wait to visit this city again!
But those 7-9 hrs of travel time is what makes the trip memorable too. At least it did for our family. Every summer back then my parents and their kins would do a massive prep for our trip and on the way there we would do a small stops on farms, side road vendors, and small eateries. The kambing dishes of the north is always 👌
@@meiliph2948 kahit na typical traffic sa manila going to baguio it will not take 9 hours. yang 7-9 hours na sinasabi nya manila to sagada na yan noh. chuserang fraglet lang talaga sya haha
I am a foreigner who has lived in the Philippines for more than 2 years. I will always love u and miss you my beloved Filipinos and my beloved the Philippines ❤❤❤
If you haven't been on a long bus journey in the Philippines, you haven't really been to the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 wonderful experience.. stopping at 3am for 3n1 coffee and a snack.
I never been to Luzon province i wish i have the opportunity to travel by bus but i have a phobia with the narrow highway where there is no rails on the edge of the road and down below is a deep dangerous creek! Especially when going to Cordillera passing through the zigzag roads!
One of my favorite time to travel is "madaling araw" and i must be seat beside the window so i can see the views of nature and i never sleep even i'm lack of sleep.. So I really mis the places of North.
Last time I've taken a long bus trip was back in 1978, forgot how much it cost me for the ride from Dallas TX. to Los Angeles CA. on a Greyhound bus that has a restroom but non of todays comforts and technology... anyway super astig na ang mga bus sa Pinas nowadays can't wait to go home 3 years na lang at sabik na ko makabalik and travel all over to my Amazing Wonderfull Philippines.....Maraming Salamat at Mabuhay ang Pilipinas !!!!!!!
@@thelowprofile9767 Target retirement ko 50 years para mas ok ang kubra sa SSI at better maturity ng 401k .....grabe ang tiyaga at hirap ng buhay toits , America still the best country on the planet in terms of good paying jobs. As a laborer without proper education hard working people dito sa US like me can still take home a fair amount of salary with benefits , vacation , holiday pay, sick leave and other incentives I don't care what anyone say.... USA is Not a perfect country and no country on this planet is.......adios, ingat kayong lahat mga kabayan and God bless :
Even though you're not speaking, I find it very informative just on the text that you put on every part of the journey. I'm so excited to go to Baguio in October
My wife rode on one of these the other way around from Baguio to metro Manila and she loved it! Said it was the most comfortable ride ever, I can see why too. Quiet and cozy, but more importantly let someone else handle the barely able to see out of winshield rainstorms haha 😁
Finally a local long trip bus that has an entertainment system sa mga seats, may pagasa pa talaga ng pinas!eh sa ibang bansa nasa 5urs ago pa ata meron ang mga long trip buses eh,samantalang yung ibang bus yun pa ring on board cr na ang pang malakasan na nila😂😂😂😂
My last trip to Baguio was in 1979 on my small Honda XL 100 motorbike. Lots of coffee stops along the way and it took me and my friends 10 hours to reach Baguio city but we had a lot of fun.
We've always travelled with Victory Liner going to baguio, but last week, me and my friend rode Joybus Deluxe from Cubao to Baguio and Joybus Premier vice versa. Joybus is cheaper than Victory and buses are newer too. So will take Joybus moving forward.
I admit, I love watching videos like this one taking place across the globe, but somehow the one taking place in my home country feels… heartwarming? It’s like I’m confident that I’m able to experience these myself because they’re not far and I love that. Kasama na ‘to sa bucket list ko, that’s for sure! Nakakapagod din minsang magdrive papuntang Baguio on your own, and you barely get to experience the sights along the way.
Thank you for admitting. This is a very big thing. It will have a very huge impact to humanity. The fact that you have admitted it, is a very life changing and inspiring milestone to all of humanity.
I traveled around the world so many times and Baguio is not exempted to those places, but may be this time not only business class airplane accommodate me the best ever, but also Genesis Joybus Executive class. Maybe, they may offer lite meal too. I love this. Only in the Philippines. Mabuhay
Baguio suffers from air pollution and is one of the cities with the dirtiest air in the country according to a 2014 WHO report.[53] A slight improvement in the city's air quality was cited in 2017 by the DENR's Environmental Management Bureau. In a 2018 WHO report, the city was again listed among 8 other cities alongside Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Manila, San Carlos, Urdaneta and Zamboanga.[54] Eco-vehicles and Euro 4 compliant vehicles have been tested whether or not they are suited for the city's steep slopes in line with efforts to modernize its Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs).[55] Public Utility Vehicles, specifically jeepneys have been pushed for its modernization, in line with President Duterte's PUV modernization initiative.[56] Another problem that plagues the city is its garbage and waste disposal. Went to Baguio a few months ago (2023) through Joybus and it's really a game changer. Super comfortable and quiet since way less passengers. It's great for seniors since there's a restroom already inside. Driver drives very safe and hindi kaskasero. Only downside is the tablet is not that useful but it's okay since I prefer to listen to music while looking at the scenery.
Come and join us as we travel from Cubao to Baguio using one of the most comfortable bus rides you can experience - the Joybus Premiere Executive by Genesis Transport! The bus has comfortable and reclinable seats, an entertainment tablet, a free WiFi, and most importantly an onboard restroom! **Please read these important notes:** [FARES] -One-way fare from Cubao is P730. -I booked online which includes additional fees. I missed the good old days back in cubao, we were going to a trip to meet our relatives who speaks ilocano while we were bisaya, my grandfather was ilocano and bisaya because he learn the language
These kind of buses were in Mindanao for more than 15 yearsnow. I always miss the comfortable buses in the region whenever I go to the capital. Glad it's also in the north nowadays.
Good to know there's something like Joybus. Sana inabot ito ng Nanay at Tatay ko para comfortable at mabilis na ang pagtravel nila to Baguio to enjoy the perks of their lives. ❤
Thanks for the heart, Tour from Home TV! Watching your video of the roads to Rosales, Urdaneta & Binalonan Pangasinan, brought a lot memories. I remember my Tatay was always the pilot of our vacation to his province in San Manuel, Pangasinan. Before SCTEX and TPLEX were made our travel time was 4 hours tops. I miss travelling with my family in Pangasinan and Baguio. After the passing of my parents, travelling alone to Pangasinan and Baguio was too tearful for me. Thanks for your vlog I watched it with my siblings while reminiscing our travel memories with Nanay and Tatay.
Hmmmm mukhang maganda ah masubukan nga pag-uwi ko ng Pinas next month diyan na lang ako magpapahatid sa kapatid ko diyan ako sasakay pauwi ng Baguio its been 14 yrs na di ako nakasakay na ng bus galing Manila pauwi ng Baguio nung time na nag-aapply ako noon for abroad pag galing kami ng Baguio noon that was 2001 ying Victory Liner pa ang uso noon na Aircon lang o yong Partas yan ang madalas kung sakyan noon.
It feels nostalgic watching this. I miss going home to province through riding a bus in cubao with my family. How I wish to go back in province but I can't because of school 😖
I have traveled there from Manila to Baguio it was an a very enjoyable trip, the air-conditioning was set to a comfortable temperature, where other overnight bus companies set there air-conditioning to very cold. Nice video I enjoyed your graphics,
I have already tried this Joyride bus Genesis with our brother from 🇸🇦 he told that it was an outstanding service from Genesis operator. So our trip was on November 10 2022 1:30pm Joyride Deluxe Premium which consists 28seats only which is 870pesos ticket fare to Baguio from Pasay Terminal. It's an amazing experience in this bus ride. Keep it up @Tour From Home TV 👍👍👍 From Montalban Rizal away from Manila City
@Karell mahalin Good afternoon po Sa tapat ng McDonald Taft Avenue Rotunda MRT Mismo baba tapos papasok ka sa loob ng terminal Makikita ng Genesis bus operator siympre may walk in din at online booking sila

I always ride Joybus going to Baguio because it's very convenient. Travel time basically depends on your departure. It's true that it will only take around 3 hours from Baguio to Mla if you will depart at 2am.
@@melodiasarangay603 applicable lang xa sa madaling araw na byahe at the same time Joybus wala pong stop over at puro expressway ang dadaanan. D gaya ng mga ordinary aircon bus na tumitigil sa mga terminal nila sa Dau then stop over sa Tarlac, stop over ulit ng Sison Pangasinan at last Marcos Highway kaya inaabot ng 5-6hours ang byahe.
Nice to see we have these units nowadays...it was 1999 wen i first ride with this type of bus...in Taiwan🙄🤔🤗🤓..hope to experience this, too, going to baguio city!
my last bus ride going to baguio was by victory liner.. I usually reading novels or sleeping so it doesn't matter to me what kind of bus I ride it to as long it was airconditioned. By the way my only tip was, never seat at the back. if you do, you feel like a roller coaster ride for over 6 hours
i rode this last november 2016. before the pandemic, the bus attendant (girl) gives biscuit and bottled water before the trip (2:30 am afaik 😄), she lents every passenger on board with blankets and a throw pillow (rectangular 😁) in case the passenger want to sleep while on the trip 😆. request po sir na sana makasakay po kayo sa victory liner na first class. thank you po 😊
Genesis seems to be the most consistent company with nicer buses. I had an absolute nightmare of an experience waiting 8 hours past the scheduled time for a Philtranco bus. DLBT seems to be in the middle of these two.
Solid North is a sister company of five star bus. Very nice vlog God bless U
Ito ung masarap bumyahe pag comportable yong masasakyan mo tulad nito thank you for sharing this video atleast may idea na ako if how much ung fare now♥️
First time to ride joybus from Baguio at 1am last Saturday.Slept all the way from Marcos highway..then just glanced outside from time to time from tplex to the toll In manila. thought I wasn't able to sleep..time was before 4 am and that's when they played music to wake everyone before we got the terminal in Cubao.what a comfy ride!.
You had a comfty ride not because the seats are high, it's because the bus is relatively new with a large wheelbase and you traversed a nice highway. The seats are high because there is a large cargo hold underneath the bus.
Filipino people is the best in the world, that's why I married the best one of your beautiful and lovely women. Even if we always rent a car when we come back in the Philippines, next time I would like to try this kind of trip. God always bless the Pihilippines to allow us foreigners to discover how wonderful are both the People and the Country. Can't wait to retire to come and live there definitely.
Still, magandang improvement ito at soon very competetive na tyo or world class.
Wow that sure was the way to travel in style from the city to the summer capital Bagiou . Thanks for sharing and greetings from England 🇬🇧 Beth and Simon 🙋💚👍😍
I so love this video! My fiancé and I are going to take this trip when I get to Manila in September, so I can get a chance to see Baguio which is a city that we are thinking of moving to in the future.
The toilet bowl is spotless 👌. The most important thing about comfy. Just wish passengers keep it clean after using for the courtesy of the next one.....
How do you do that spraying water up your butt and all over the cr ? lol that's something I need to practice before going there 💩 it's my only worry going to the Philippines 😩
Truly amazing and comfortable bus I've experienced last 2019 from Cubao till Baguio . very convenient with comfort room as well.:) To all the drivers always drive carefully and have a blessed one. Thanks for the tour.
I enjoy the trip, because that's how I do it. Early morning, no traffic plus It's in Cubao so close to North Express Way. If you take the one in Pasay, it takes you longer just to get out.
A very informative channel about commuting, it is timely because of what we all had experience during lockdowns. Many people in Manila are very excited specially those who do not own automobiles to go back or to have a vacation to their provinces.
Kayo pala yun I saw you holding the camera! hehe Nice documentary of the trip. We've slept the whole trip as the ride was super comfortable. Good that you have documented and now we know where we passed. hehe Keep it up and God bless!
Hehe! 😴 Thank you for watching, Tim! God bless! 😃
I must try this Joybus next time. So far my best bus ride was from Chiangmai to Bangkok and it was awesome. There were snacks and drinks in between. They also serve, soda, coffee or juice with hot towel every few hours. The meal was also good. I wish I could ride the joybus. Genesis buses are really nice and clean.
My last visit to Baguio, we rode the same bus. They also have a sort of bus attendant. They have touch screens and a lazy boy chair with foot rest. The onboard bathroom is so nice.
More of these please... Para meron tayong PINOY VERSION ng mga Travel Vlog Thru Bus / Train Ride, madalas ko pinapanood yung ganito ng mga Japanese Silent Vloggers like SOLO SOLO TRAVEL CHANNEL and KUGA'S TRAVEL CHANNEL, Try a Train Ride Vlog naman next Vlog mo yung Going to Bicol... 👍😁
try nio mindanao star halos ganian mga buses bumabyahe from Digos-Davao vice versa ung mei monitor sa front meron din 🤩 And my boyfriend from ilocos once asked bat ang ganda daw ng bus na sinakyan ko I sent him a picture kasi bat mei charging port at tv daw tas nag fofog kasi sobrang lamig at linis sa loob.
