I don't mean to offend the feelings of Samyang lovers, but I never understood why people love their noodles so much. I've tried many Buldak flavours and never enjoyed them. Maybe it's because I have low spice tolerance (I'm from Russia and our cuisine is not spicy at all), but to me these noodles always taste like burning pain and nothing else. No chicken, no cheese, etc. And there are other spicy noodles that I like and can feel the taste of (I have one particularly lovely kimchi noodles that I eat most often)
I love them but i also don’t use the full spice packet. If i do it’s not an enjoyable experience for me either 😂 so i use some of the spice packet and add other things like shredded cheese and i poach an egg or two as well in the noodles and broth as it cooks. Those additions also mellow out the spice level and it’s so yummy then!
Yay I am so excited to see this new samyung noodle mukbang. Might become your new favourite. Love you Kelsey! Just finished work so I am excited to see this ❤
You’re not enjoying it as much as you do your stew type noodles! I feel like, based on your opinion that these noodles could be a perfect base for a deeper, richer dish! Thank you for your honest opinion! And I can’t wait to see another one of your stew type noodles mukbang!!! 😋 enjoy LA!
You should try the Wai Wai brand hot and sour soup noodles. They taste similar to the Mama brand but better! I've been buying them at my local asian market for like 20 years and now I have a hard time finding them.
Agree Kelsey, I tried these few months ago and they’re not worth the hype, they definitely don’t taste like tom yum which i was surprised don’t have sour taste at all and sweeter then other samyang noodles, stew type definitely way way better.
*commenting while watching in real time* the additional lime / lemon juice does make it good. I also like the sour concept. But, I for one have never had tomyom 😭🫠
for me i’m the opposite , since i couldn’t ever really decorate growing up i make it a point to decorate my room as much as i can and personalize it to make it feel more like home so i’m able to feel comfortable where i am

Hi Kelsey!! Idk what part of SoCal you’re in but the best Asian/viet/TLC food is in OC area like Westminster or garden grove! I recommend: Vientiane Laos Thai restaurant and OC & Lau Restaurant (Viet food), both in Garden Grove. For hotpot, I love All that Shabu in Irvine or Boiling World in Ontario! For KBBQ, Quarters in LA and Thirsty Cow in Industry! Hope you have an amazing time 🥰

Omg! I’m drooling!. Looks so good. 😊 the mama noodles are bomb and I still eat it. Thanks for rating gurl. Since you’ll be in LA, go to Bhan Kanom Thai which has sweets and snacks and there a really good restaurant next door. It’s Thai Town in LA. Have fun.

Hey Girl. I would so recommend “BOILING POINT” I go to the one in Artesia. Close to Cerritos. But one of my favorite Hot Pot places. Look it up & check it out. I always get Korean Bean Paste one Mild & Add chili oil & all the sauces they have. Options are “Garlic Soy Sauce” “Bean Paste” “Garlic Chili Oil” & if you go during lunch you get a free Green Tea or Black Tea. Their Black tea is really good. Theres a few of them in & near LA. Hopefully you try it out. They have a variety of choices.
I actually relate to your random thought lol i have my own apartment now and i havent decorated cause im so used to having to move around, im gonna decorate soon though so i can remind myself im okay now 😅
Yeah you are not as excited as you are with the buldak stew type. I just went to the Asian store I bought these too but def got my stew type and got my ingredients. Thanks kels
I saw someone on tiktok add a little bit of coconut milk in the tom yum one and idk why but it sounds kinda fire that way since i do like a lil bit more sauce with my samyang. 😂found it once but i didn't cop it and i wish i did to just try at least!
Team always adding chile and lime to soups. And I don't know any Viet that didn't grow up with that silver bag mama noodles. Even ate them uncooked as a snack like chips smashing the noodles and using the packet as flavoring. Mmm brings me back to my youth. Mai Phụng in OC. One of the better places for pho or banh canh cua. - mango

Does your stomach ever hurt during the night when you eat buldak noodles. Every time I eat buldak noods, my stomach kills me while trying to sleep, like I might need to go to the hospital lol but I survive. Buldak noodles are so good
