i relate a lot to what you said at the end about your anxiety getting worse as you get older. as a teenager, my anxiety was terrible, literally debilitating, but i could still do stuff by myself. i just turned 24 and i'm constantly paranoid about things happening to/around me, being by myself, going anywhere by myself, and it's honestly exhausting. i hope things get better for you, lovely!!

me too! I thought it was just me, and it's a bummer to hear other ppl r going thru similiar. For me, I don't think my anxiety has necessarily gotten worse but its sources are different and maybe more present/inescapable. When i was younger my anxiety was about school and friends/relationships, that sorta thing mostly. But at the end of the day i could go home and leave it, at least a little. But jobs, rent, bills, $, safety, etc...it's all your responsibility. Adult worries are kinda always there. There's just less bandwidth to face the 'little' anxieties of going out and it might make them feel bigger. Might just be me lol anywayss sending love to y'all in this comment thread + eve

It's usually just because the products get dry/old/expired. Not usually because people are trying to be wasteful. I live in Arizona so all my makeup gets dry/Cakey within a few months so I have to throw it out and by fresh stuff

i totally get how you feel about the going to get your passport pic taken... which is why i straight up took my own passport pics. i literally set up my camera in my room and used as many desk lamps as i could and stood against my white door. took so many pics and printed them out on photo paper and submitted it in and it worked!! i was so freaking happy i was able to do it that way!
I wish, mine had to be taken in their office. They did ask if I liked it, but there wasn’t much I could do to make myself look better on the spot, so I just said it looked okay. But I got to pick my student’s ID photo, so I cropped my face from a normal photo that I liked, it was satisfying to at it.

Pro tip: for passport and drivers license photos if there’s any shine on your face they make you pat it down. I had to remove my nose forehead, upper lip, and cheek high liter when I got mine
omg eve I had similar bumps appear on my skin around the same age as you (i’m 26 now) and in my case i found it was that my skin wasn’t exfoliating(?) itself well?? so the pores were kinda getting clogged with dead skin cells or whatever but they weren’t pimples. Rather than using physical exfoliants (like mitts or stuff w microbeads etc that can damage ur skin) i started using chemical ones & found the issue started to clear up within about 6 months. Personally I started with the lactic acid by The Ordinary, and their AHA BHA peeling mask (the red one u might’ve seen before), they also have a glycolic acid toner too (but i found it too harsh for my skin). You have to be reeeeally careful starting out with these things though (their website gives useful guides n shit) & making sure u use SPF in the day. This is just what worked for me tho and it could be a totally different reason for u~ just thought i’d share incase it helps lol

@@sunmoonstar333 i’d actually describe my skin type as the exact same as u haha! from what i’d researched i’d heard that when u start using them ur skin can seem to get a bit worse for a while - not as in having a bad reaction but more like “purging” what’d been clogging it. so i did find myself getting pimples in the ‘problem’ areas for the first month-ish but knew to persist and after 6-12 months of use it did get rid of the issues i’d been having prior. it can be a kinda frustrating in the beginning tho bc it feels like a bit of a gamble wondering whether ur breaking out bc of “purging” or bc ur skin just isn’t suited to the product, but for me i’d tried loads of other things to no avail and i’d been getting hormonal breakouts every month where the bumps would usually be so i just stuck with it and it worked out lol I also have other things in my skincare routine & it hasn’t 100% removed the issue but prob about 85-90% better than it used to be!

For some reason You remind me of Billie Eilish with this makeup. I dig it. Also if you’re having skin issues, usually that’s a gut (digestive or diet) related issue or live/kidneys gets backed up and doesn’t filter as effectively with age and it shows up in our skin. If you don’t already take a probiotic you may want to try starting there (since there’s no real downside to taking one) if that doesn’t clear up the bumpy patch try some milk thistle which is a natural supplement that helps support liver and kidney function as we age. I totally feel you not wanting to do your passport. I had huge anxiety atack while doing my ID papers so I was not looking forward to geting my passport but I had no choice and did it on my own this year. It was so stresfull like literally consumed my every thaught for a month. Add to that I had only six weeks to get it before leaving the country. And it was like 5 minutes before the war so everyone wanted to get passports. I had to go by train to smoller town because in the city it was impossible to get in. Covid was not helping eather. Im honestly kind of proud that I managed to do that with my anxiety. It’s good to challange yourself sometimes.

If you're not already doing it, keep changing your bedding and don't be afraid to cover your pillows with clean t-shirts or towels to prevent your face rubbing on a used pillowcase or so. You might also want to go over your skincare as it might be a reaction to something gone bad or a reaction of actives clashing with each other. Try some niacinamide or bha serums for a couple of weeks and see if it clears up. Forgetting to washing of sunscreen and sleeping on "dirty" pillowcases usually do that to my skin. You're gorgeous and keep up the nice and cute videos and being yourself! c:

Great result! In my passport tho one my big mole was photoshopped and immigration kept complaining about it several times, so I do not recommend anyone to add extra moles when making passport pic! Lol
It's a total misconception that you only get acne as a teen. I had perfect skin as a teen, not a single mark or blemish. Around your age I started developing hormonal acne (the area you highlighted as the problem is hormonal acne) and now at 27 it's still a big problem. Over the years I've developed terrible scars, and now my skin is pretty much ruined 😔 Get on top of it before it becomes a problem girl, you're still young enough and your skin is still beautiful ❤
If you've not done so, get a full checkup at a gynecologist. A friend of mine had her skin start to behave erratically; after years of trying skin treatments, she found out she had PCOS. As soon as she started treating that, her skin completely settled down.

Somebody might've said this already - but apparently people can get acne a few years after the standard sort of highschool age - a lot of girls (specifically) in the US have reported getting acne in mid to late uni (even if their diets don't change). Pretty random but obvi has something to do with hormones.
In most pleases in the states you have to have someone take your photo. We don’t even have a booth or an easy way to do it you have to ask someone to stop working to take a photo of you and they don’t really work with you. For my drivers license I PILED on extensions and bronzer and so much makeup because the flash washes you out and it came out PERFECT!
