It’s a different look but a nice change up from the traditional 1x4 on the corners and gives a slightly more modern feel. Hope all is well!

did they paint all the cut edge parts before installing as per j.H. instructions...it matters

That over lapping feature does look to be a tighter fit allowing for a more water tight fit.

6:20 just a very clean look and elsewhere with siding butting up on trim and framing. clean.

We have around 5 or 6 active custom projects at a time and try to space them so as we wrap up one we start another. Doesn’t always work that way but that’s the goal as we try to build quality or quantity.
