Toni. I know you adore Christmas, as do I. I am just wondering though, will you feel the same this coming Christmas, about decorating your Christmas tree and putting up decorations in your lovely home, when you have been doing it day in and day out at work? In other words, will it take the edge off your Christmas? Or will it give you inspiration do you think? 🤫

Toni my daughter and so inlaw were both hospital nurses and also had an 1-30mins drive there and back it really took a toll on them especially winter months driving country lanes...now they are practice nurses in local doctors the difference in their lives is amazing they are not wiped out at the weekends xx

Hi Toni Loving your videos, including your work very interesting to watch, I hope this bit of advice helps, you mentioned about the commuting and how many hours and how much it’s costing you, maybe you’re feeling a little bit out of sorts because it is a new job job after all and it’s gonna feel strange even though you said you fit in really well already and travelling is certainly new to your normal routine so you will feel strange with that so hopefully within a month or so everything should balance out and you should start to feel a normal routine if that makes sense, I know you said it’s your dream job, but further down the line if you still feel that it is too much for you couldn’t you work with your gaffer and do less days in the office, just thinking of all options to help you out but ultimately I’m sure it will all fall into place for you ❤

Hello Toni, I think it becomes a combination of several things when thinking about your job and commute. Quality of your life is top priority, You have a long commute, and thinking about your mental health is important. Some people listen to pod casts which can be helpful. I listen to a good book. Also, thinking about how is it impacting your home life, and your relationships with family and friends. Do you have the kind of time you want to spend with them? Then there is the practical part as to your fuel costs, and the wear and tear on your care(engine, oil changes, etc). I'm sure you have considered these things, but a hard look is sometimes needed. You have mentioned it several times now, so I'm thinking it is weighing on your mind quite a bit. OK, I'll stop now as I am beginning to sound like my mother!! LOL! Take care, and be safe. ❤

Oh gosh that's a very long commute to and from work and I don't have any advice other than to maybe listen to audio books to pass the time but the job itself is a dream for Christmas decoration enthusiasts like yourself - hopefully in time it will become less onerous as it would be a shame to have to give up just yet. My husband did that length of journey the last few years of his working life setting off at 6am and not getting back till 12 hours later - sometimes even worse if the traffic was particularly bad but he loved his job so stuck with it until he retired. I used to take a bag of grapes, chopped apple and celery to work to munch on although it was never quite as satisfying as a bar or chocolate 😛 I've been using Wild deodorant for a few years now but didn't realise they did lip balms so off to check that out now!!

Issue i have with Wild is you will find there's loads left in insert when its finished and you can't push remainder up but it is a lovely product.

Our Samsung washer started doing that after about 18 months (ecobubble) and had to replace. Very annoying and wasn’t a cheap machine 😡

Toni, i agree with the comments made by others. I did a daily 4-hour commute with no traffic. Loved the job but it did take its toll on me, my pocket, and may car. Driving in winter ( cold and dark ) was extremely challenging. Few suggestions: Reduce hours Work from home at least one day a week (maybe mid week) Stay local one night a week. The job sounds amazing, and for your mental and physical health, some adjustments are needed. Good luck xx

No disrespect intended here Toni but it’s not a “Dream Job” you should be aiming for, it’s a “Dream LIFE”… 👍🏼😁 You’ll realise this as the years just fly by and before you know it, you’ll be heading into retirement.. 🙈 Don’t waste some of the best years of your life on the road because life is far too short !!… 🚗💨💨💨

I use slow cooker bags then you don’t need to wash out the slow cooker.

Hi Toni. Been watching you for years. I hope the commute doesn't get too much for you. I know you simply adore Xmas, which is why this is your dream job. But just keep in mind it is only a job, and that long drive every day could eventually get you down and make you realize what's important in life. Don't want to put a damper on your spirits, but just being realistic. I'm in my 50s and had two three hour work journeys in the last few days. No way I could cope with that every day. Please don't shatter yourself. These things can start out looking fabulous and then sometimes reality kicks in. Unless you move again to be nearer to your job, of course! lol. xxx

When my girls were baby's I worked night shift 4 nights a week and did 2 days cleaning. It was very hard I had too do it But Tony one bit advice take it easy because work will always be there when your not And enjoy your family 🎉❤

Hi Toni I feel your pain regarding your commute, I had my dream job working an animal charity loved it I made a difference and was good at my job but like my commute was 3 hours and it was exhausting I lasted 7 years, I now work part time close to home and look afmy granddaughter and I'm home more for my dog's and I am so much happier with work life balance xx

I’m a waitress and omg I work hard I’m part time but every other weekend I also have to work . I miss being home so much but I need the money .if u can go back to being at home do it xx

Toni it's, burning the candle at both ends, that's the saying. So sorry to hear that the commute is really getting you down, it's sod's law, that you've found your Ideal job, but it's 15 hrs a week away from you. Unfortunately there's not a lot you can do about that, apart from one thing, which you know. So just enjoy everything as is, and then if it ever gets too much for you, well then so be it. And your hair Toni, being a mess all the time, because it's really not, you have beautiful hair, and 95% of the time it always looks really nice and not fizzy or flyaway, just lovely, your so gorgeous and you don't even know, do you. Oh and you've been a bit sneaky with your packed lunches what with your Grab Bag sized Maltesers and now your Danish Slice oooh😮 Toni. But have you enjoyed them, if the answer is Yes, then it doesn't matter, does it😊. Be happy, see you next time. 🥰🐾🐾🍄🌷

I pay to get my ironing done if you have the extra money and I can appreciate not everyone does but it does take a load of and helps me out.

Hi Toni, I know you said this is your dream job, but the impact on your life with the commute sounds too much. Think of the winter months with dark nights. Hope you can work it out, perhaps go to working part time a few days a week instead of full time? Obviously, you would have to have a chat with your boss, but maybe they would consider that? X
