Well here is another short part in breaking Kingdom Come. I do not think I have seen anything out there showing how to quickly pick pocket up to max level really quickly, at least in 2021. They fixed a bunch of the other methods, like choking out a capture cuman solider and pick pocketing him, or the capture person at town during main story mission. No no, this is fresh, or fresh as I could find.
This method just needs a bit of expensive gear to pull it off, but as you know, getting top line gear is not that tough. Check out this video link below to see how to get the good gear to pull this off if you need. But anything works, just I believe how it works is that the more expensive + weight = experience gain. Not 100% certain but that seem to give me the best results.

Also there are ways to train up your lock picking and stealth up really easily without having any guards disturb you, or giving you nasty fines (Well most of the time).
I do have other KCD videos planned, but I have to re-do them all since I deleted them since I did not think anyone had any interest in them...but anyways, ask away if you have any questions.
Questions like, why do I need max pick pocket if I am already incredibly wealthy? I mean...it is nice to have? I don't know...I didn't say I was going to give good answers out...

Thanks, it is just part of the game. And honestly, the area around the "burnt out farm" that is not burnt out yet, is the perfect ground for training a thief. No guards, no fines (well about 95% of the time), and it is just easy going. Now the problem I have is that now you have maxed pickpocketing, ummm what do I do with it? I might be able to find something...

I think they were just glad that Henry, the butcher of Skalitz, didn't kill them in their sleep. He only left behind presents of bloody armor and weapons in their pouches and they consider that a win ;)

Glad to hear that :) I have a couple more planned, but I just have to re-record them. Last week, I deleted the last batch of recordings because I didn't think anyone even wanted to see stuff like this...and then the algorithm came. It will take a bit to redo it, but at least I sort of know what I doing, well sort of.

You probably know this, but if you do get fined from guards, the guards that fined you have the money in their inventory and you can easily get it back from them. This game is gloriously exploitative, which really is a throwback to the older style RPG games, the freedom the game can give you at times is refreshing. We need more sandbox RPG games, I fear it has become a dying genre.

Thanks :) I try to make it a rule on some of the stuff I put out that if I get bored from editing the video, I probably should not release it out in the world. I am still learning a bit, but hopefully I will keep making some more things you all will enjoy :)

I most defiently do plan on doing that. It may take a bit of time since I just purchased a new microphone and will have to re-record all the episodes I had planned. So it may look a little empty for a week or so for KCD content. But I much rather release the other series with better sound and give a better quality for people to watch. :)

Glad it helped out :) Pickpocketing is sort of a meh skill to be honest, but at least with this you do not have to grind with towns people catching you all the time and then be left disappointed. The only useful thing I found with this is if I am too lazy to lockpick a door I just pickpocket their keys off them :P

Some dude broke into my house, knocked me out, and then pickpocketed me over 30 times. When he was done, I checked my pockets just to find he had somehow shoved several full suits of armor in there without me noticing. Dude's a wizard.

If I recall correctly it was not about weight but base $ value - good idea of giving items to NPCs. Give away tons of groshen and take them back at once. Also even if you have keys (press E) you can lock pick (hold E) locks.

The $ amount like you said I think is the ticket there. I was just covering my bases at the time since I was not a 100% certain, but I figured that $ had a part in it. If there was an easy way to get a ton of jewelry out there this would be much simplier. But I think the bigger questions is, what can I actually do with pickpocketing? I am stumped. And no way! If you have keys you can lock doors!! That is the best thing ever! I will have to try that out, because you can train lockpicking up so easy with a couple doors that I know about. I mean a couple people might have to be "disposed of", but it will make the gains in lockpicking so much faster :)

@@helicalgoose what I found useful about pickpocketing: - get your money back from skill trainers IF they are pickpocketable - haggle and give them extra $ to raise your rep and get more xp once you steal it back - get stolen goodies back from guards if you got searched (useful if you do poaching quests and someone takes your rabbits lol) - steal dices from NPCs to easen the difficulty (useful for Capon DLC with gold dices - bandits WILL NOT be mad if you use these dices vs them) - steal quest items (ie. monastery letter) - cheese being a good fellow - give quest related payments, get good rep and steal them back - sometimes steal food if you need it xD Oh, you can steal a few items at a single attempt but be careful with the timer - if possible get up to 30s then get few items at once and get perks to auto discover ? slots.

@@helicalgoose also: - if you want an achievement do not steal $ from dice players, just dices and play vs them - you need to win 1k total for achievement - any stealth related action will increase it (sneaking into a wall, KO, backstabs, lock picking, pickpocketing) - if you want people to wake up and close the locks again press X to whistle in a house a few times, they will go to you - careful with it as it may get random guards walking into houses, too

Another place where it's easy to do this is the infirmary where Johanka works in Sasau. I usually wait until late at night then I choke out one the patients then load him up with armor. Then I pickpocket away.

Glad to hear! Honestly, if you get to level 20 pickpocket, you're essentially a god of thieves and any perks you pick works out great. The ones I would avoid is the perks that Item Expert perks. There is no reason to know the status of an item. Really, if you want it, take it. :D

stealing is op in this game, i recently did a hardcore with all negative perks merciful run and stealing helped a lot, a great tip for lockpicking is that the luck of the drunk perk lowers the level at which you can pick very hard locks, you can pick merchant chests at level 7-8 lockpicking while drunk

Stealing is pretty OP in this game. Though I would ask in your run, was pickpocketing even worth doing? I know you can get to make level of pickpocketing, but I have not really found a use for it, well at least making decent money. Lockpicking seems to be champion of breaking into houses and getting the goods, but pickpocketing blah.

Very nice, I think for me I just usually end up robbing all the Rattay stores constantly (after getting the perk luck of the drunk) to level up lock picking then pickpocketing the injured refugees at the Sasau monastery at night. For leveling up archery, I just go back to Skalitz and find a spot where the respawning Skalitz bandit/cumans/guards can't hit me that well (there's a place close to a fence and some minor scaffolding where you can jump on) and constantly shoot them with a bow.

That is actually a great spot :) If you obtain a bow and tons of arrows in Skalitz. (Easy way is knock out one of the guards over and over again, they respawn weapons and ammo as long as you do not kill them). Then when you go back to Skailtz to bury your parents sort of thing, you can jump on that same platform and shoot non-stop at Runt. He is immortal and you can max out bows that way, as long as you have enough arrows and patience ;) To be honest I never actually max out the bow, it just does way too much damage later on, can't get enough practice.

I think they despawn when they're a certain distance away. I got caught stealing at the inn at the glade and 3-4 ppl ran off. I followed them a bit to see wtf they were going and realized they were getting a guard. I ran back, slept there and nothing happened. I think they despawn because the game can't load NPCs all over the world as NPCs are hard on the resources. you need to be close for them to be allowed to pop into existence. what probably happened to you was that they got lucky and found 1 patrolling guard nearby or something

You know you might be onto something there. I know they have a distances before they despawn. I have followed them before for a bit which explains why they just kept going, since they did not despawn quite yet.

I actually had no idea who he was, but he has some very good artwork and humor in the videos I looked at thanks for comparision. Hopefully I will be back with more game breaking things in the series. Tomorrow video will explain some more what is going on, but I do plan later to release some of the bigger projects I have been working on for KCD. These other ones just take a bunch of time and planning. I just need to settle down and get that time :)

ah 100% This was a really old video with my old headphone headsets plus, I didn't separate out the recording from the game, so I couldn't turn down the music in the game without adjusting my own voice volume. Early day mistakes :D

Ah that house is quite useful, but there are other places. The Inn in the Glade is a great spot to do a little (thievery) too. People have a harder time running to guards from there as well. (Only got reported once) The downside it seems the villagers there are connected to Talmberg, so if you care about reputation there, then this place might not be for you. But reputation at Talmberg can be improved in many different ways, so its not too big a deal.

To be perfectly honest it was a real slip up. I was trying to carry the body away and held the button too long, and opps. The poor guy is dead. Now the guy's wife or living mate, 100% not an accident. I had to get rid of any witnesses around the area. ;)

Thanks :) And I totally agree about the music. Honestly the sound could've been redone, but then it didn't match the rest of the video and I already sort of moved on with characters recording other parts. The saves only last so long if it is not an official quest line. So this was a move to save time, especially since I lost a full weekend of editing videos the previous week and multiple job interviews at the same time. So it was a time thing. But in the future expect better quality from me :)

You should try speech next it is the hardest in my opinion to level up really fast.

You know, I have been looking for this for awhile now. To me this is the "holy grail" of things to level up. There are so many ways to max out stam, fighting skills, or stealth, but speech, I mean speech jeeeez, no solid way that I know. There are specific things that makes speech go up real fast, but they come rarely. You use to be able to threaten guards over and over to level it up really fast but now that is gone, I am sort of stumped. I seriously put in about 5-6 hours looking for something to do that. Someone knows of a way, or I might stumble on a way to do it. ;)

Yah, if there is a way to abuse reading, maybe cause the books to reset to gain skill? I will have to look into that. Thanks for the suggestion. There are events that do reset certain things, I do not know if books are one of them. I have a couple ideas now going through my head :)

im thinking all those items, sell to fence 1 by 1 haggling. then go out to his garage and steal them all back, repeat just don't steal all his money. or even put the money back in the box that he pays you for it

@@Deploreables Yes, that is a possiblity to make speech work. The one thing that stops me from doing something like that, is that I would like something that gives a nice kick to speech gain. Sort of like the pickpocketing thing I was showing. If the gains are larger than normal and repeatable that would work. I think for haggling you get something like 2 xp? Maybe more based on the amount you spend. I have not checked it out fully quite yet. I know there are places and items you gain tons of XP for speech, but they are not repeatable, well not that I can figure out quite yet. There is still time to look into the game. I am still discovering things I did not know myself was possible so lets hope :)

@@helicalgoose from what i have read the speech exp is based on per item, found it on a search for how to make mods, they usually have the best understanding of all those unseen stats for mechanics

Because I was trying to compensate for my bad mic at the time :( This video was recorded with my old mic, which works ok for some things. But I though shifting pitch could fix something...but no no. Ugggh hard to listen anymore haha

If you take their keys, they can't lock the doors anymore because they don't have their keys.

That is true too. This game details are quite a bit deeper than people give it credit for at times :P Also, keys are only there for making Henry an early Bohemian Janitor with 600 keys to unlock every door in the region.

Oh man, I know :( Hopefully I can fix up my vegas pro 15. I mean even this episode might of been cut just because I have been struggling with getting anything to render or either it butchers the sound. So just getting it out was like, fine this is good it is sort of together. But I think I have it figured out for the most part, so we shall see. *starts knocking on wood*

I wouldnt recommend vegas to edit, cause it is buggy and you dont really do heavy edition. you should try openshot or da vinci resolve (the first one is foss and the second one has a really competent free license). vegas is trash and is expensive.

Thanks for the tip. I knew vegas was buggy, but I have seen tons of other people use it which is why I got it on steam sale long time ago. I mean it worked for five months straight, then all of the sudden nothing wanted to render or the audio would cut up. The only reason I do not switch now, is just because I sort of learned how to edit with vegas and having to relearn would be slightly a problem. But again, if vegas pro keeps doing this, I am open to switching editing software.

In my opinion all this abusing is huge disadvantage of this game. Of course I do this too, but don't like it. KCD would be way better without opportunity to do such a things. By the way. Skalitz is better place for Lockpicking training, probably. When all guards are devastated you can simply run around your town and open doors and chests of any difficulty (from very easy to very hard). Of course supportive locals will help you with this training and will close their doors almost every time you open it.

You know in all the years I have played this game, I never, not once got a lockpick from Fritz. If that lockpick breaks does he give you a new one? Or are you to cherish this one lockpick forever, assuming you can not get more?

@@helicalgoose somehow I've managed to save all 4 lockpicks with "Shakes" perk being active. In case you have some lockpicking experience it's not a problem. But as a beginner... Well, even without negative perks I'd broken more than 10 lockpicks to open my first 'very easy' chest. Also, it's very useful to get lockpicks from Fritz not only for training, but to open chest in Henry's house. It contains few coins, book about strength and unique dice Henry made for himself. Though, not very useful but why not?

@Helical by the way. I've just discovered better place to level up your pickpocketing fast and easy. It's a hospital in Sasau monastery. Wounded people are lying on the ground and don't have any reaction for your actions. They can't move or speak anything except quest phrases. So, you can load one (or all) of them with heavy stuff and loot it all the night long. Not a soul will disturb you, but what's more important, this actions probably don't affect reputation, although I'm not 100% sure.

@@UnknownAlien475 The real question is that, why would anyone need pickpocketing as a skill in this game. I feel like there is little to no reward for doing it. Low level all the way to top tier. I had this same feeling in Skyrim too. The skill just feels like extra filling because somebody liked the thought of being in there. I know if it was not in the game people would want it, but it just feels empty. Maybe I am missing something that I could do with pickpocketing.
