Yes, even before he actually started, I was already "No this is going to go horribly wrong. Phil, is Dan there?!? If so, get him to do it instead!" Not because i think Dan has hairdresser skills, (maybe he has, who knows) but because I think cutting someone else's hair would be easier than cutting your own. My dad cut his and my brothers hair. At first it looked like he tried to do a bowl cut without a bowl so he just shaved it down to fuzz. He is 42 so yes you are perfectly okay
