As a Mercedes mechanic in germany i really have to give my props to you you are really good at what you do and i love every single video of you. I especially loved your w211 series!!!
Hey, I have a 2012 C300 and when I turn my heat on it sounds like bird chirping coming from center vents. Only happens when the fan is at low speed and it's worse when I accelerate. Also notice it doesn't really blow air through center vents but more on the side. Do I need a new fan or is it something else? Any help is appreciated.
It genuinely never seems like you guys are "working" I know there has to be some stress with everything that goes into making content for us, but you guys are awesome and make some of the best stuff to watch not just on youtube just all around. Thanks fellas!!
Peter's reactions are absolutely priceless! You can honestly, zoom in on Peter's face, and record his expressions and laughter ~ It's incredibly infectious & hilarious 😂! What a great asset to LSC!
@LSC Peter 👍🤪 Make sure you stay @ LSC, please! If you ever get an itch to leave, notify your fans, and we'll petition Alex for a massive raise LOL 🤗🤣. 私たちはあなたを崇拝します..... Watashitachi wa anata o sūhai shimasu!
@@WouterB76 ABSOLUTELY 💯 % AGREE 👍. Peter makes everything funnier, interesting, and is obviously, very talented. He's truly an incredibly nice person. Alex & Peter, along with Max, make an AWESOME TEAM!!!
For the steering wheel, use Sonax alcantara cleaner and microfiber for the worst of it then use a horse hair brush and more sonax to go against the grain. It will come back around! I have similar wheel for my M240i and it is a pain to clean but worth it.
🏁🏁Once twice three times a charm … Alex out here wrenching his heart out …truly the best or nothing 😎 as for cleaning Alcantara steering wheel I use sonax upholstery and alcantara cleaner with a brush 🧼
As far as I know, having the alcantara steering wheel means it has the P30 performance package upgrades. It’s not a “silly option” it actually denotes a special package you could spec with the car. Take some low grain fine sandpaper and agitate the wheel. The alcantara will feel fresh after that.
Spray dilute tide on a non microfiber towel and gently work out the oils and grime from dirty hands. Let dry naturally then finish with the sand paper or even a brillow pad to "fluff" it
Yes, the P30 had an extra 30BHP, stronger engine internals, composite brakes and stiffer suspension (in UK, US spec may be different). Excepting of course that Alex's car no longer has its original engine...
Alex, if you’re looking to repair the steering wheel, you can buy a colourlock sanding block to knock down the nasty, dirty fibers and bring it back quite easily. Obsessed Garage just did another video on his 911. I’m sure Jason at Chicago Auto Pros could easily help you out with that. Alcantara cleaner, nice brush, the sanding block, and it’ll look great! @legitstreetcars
The best parts of these videos is when you guys are in the car going for rips and laughing like little boys blowing up their toys with firecrackers. That joy is real, never lose that.
When you got to replace the bell housing, just buy a new one off of Amazon, they are around $100-$200. Pay attention to how it comes apart because the pump assembly is inside of the bell housing assembly!
I love all the giggles! Only us car guys get this feeling of laughing uncontrollably from absolute joy when you’re driving a car like this! Can’t wait to win it!
Alex, I have a similar head unit and to make the Bluetooth work you have to wire it up to the ami or the USB connection in the center console. It took me a while to figure it out but there are videos out there to watch. Let me know if you need help finding one!!! Beautiful car like always keep up the great work!!!
I don't usually comment but you deserve it you formulas is working. I go away from you for 2 weeks, come back, rock this whole series for 2+ hours, the whole way thru. 🗣RU-vid pay the man!
Best crew, great work Alex. I have been flipping cars for a couple of years now and my favorite thing has been traveling to a different state to buy a car. Me and my wife with out 1 year old daughter traveled to Kentucky to buy our 2014 Raptor Roush supercharged and it was such an amazing experience. Love the content, very enjoyable
I live near Pittsburgh and love driving through the tunnels. I rev my rx8 r3 to 9k and sounds amazing. I'm jealous I wish to hear that c63 (my 2nd achievable dream car) in the tunnels. LSC and Dahm are the best car RU-vid channels imo. Thanks for the entertainment.
As an owner of a 87 Buick Grand National since 1987 I was pleasantly surprised when you said it was one of your "dream cars" especially with all the great cars that have passed through your shop. Recently Derek from Vice Grip Garage and Ryan from street outlaws have purchased G N's too
I just traded my C63 and my truck in for a new work truck. I miss that car so much! I registered to win this one so my fingers are crossed! I definitely know my way around that engine. I did so much maintenance work on that car. Also installed headers, x-pipe, and a tune. It was such an awesome car!
OMG! I absolutely adored this C63 AMG after fixing the engine and no single issue after driven above 700 miles. This is the trending season videos of this month. I really want this car if I were in US. ❤❤❤❤
I bought a c63 for my wife as a daily driver , I remember telling her the same things first time she drove it , be careful in the wet , don’t floor it to overtake etc . It was an awesome car .
Not sure why I don't know about this car. This is a Mercedes and I definitely want. This thing is the best, everything V8 offers and with all the comfort. WOW!
Being an owner of a 2014 C63 AMG 507 Edition with only 27k miles I love taking people for rides and also letting them drive it also. Hands down the best car for putting smiles on people's faces and the sound it makes is pure amazement!! We never plan on selling it
Your many m156 63 videos inspired me, so now i have finally ordered vrp long tubes to my cls63 :) Greetings from Finland and keep going on building cool cars!
When you’re not currently in manual mode to use the paddle shifters, you have to hold for three seconds, but when in manual mode, it’s an instant shift. Definitely want to let you review my w212 E 63.
The Oldsmobile station wagons have a rear window that goes down and rear facing seats. That would be a pretty cool build, maybe not quite your niche, but fun none the less.
Glad you made it back to Chicago, someone’s going to be so lucky to get this car. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, and I’m excited for anyone to win this beautiful machine. Good luck everyone!
I have a 2013 C63 AMG with a similar aftermarket Android infotainment display and when it started acting funny -- wouldn't turn on, wouldn't show the backup camera display, intermittently only turned on after long drives when the car was turned off and then back on again, or would even only play the radio while completely failing to turn on the display -- it was a symptom of the car's battery going bad. Or as far as I can tell. Once the battery was replaced (because it was legit bad and died completely in a parking lot) it hasn't had an issue since.
I’m an IS F owner because I love the reliability with some go fast….this is the car that would make me switch to the MB side! I agree with you Alex, the spec of this one is amazing…color both in and out, features, and a rebuilt engine…if only it would NOT be expensive to repair and possibly have some more reliability issues in the future….thanks to the three of you for making such an amazing show…yes…show…not content.
The three of you make great content! Always look forward to your videos! This AMG is sick love it!! Sounds incredible! Absolutely beautiful!! The smile on Peter’s face priceless.
Hot tip from an old guy. Given the massive torque and massive g your brakes have, You know those D rings Mercedes puts all over the back of SUVs and trunks etc. if there are any in the c class I’d ratchet that transmission down with 2 straps, before it flies forward and kills you when you rear end something… physics. Great weight for traction though.
All the foamcannons we have had at work has all had the same issue, the bottle. Or to be more precise, its the bottles plastic threads that always fail. The foamcannons haven't had a single issue doe
I would love to see you get a E 350 V-6 Mercedes Benz engine, and do an update such as twin turbos to see if it will work out, or hold up. There are so many of these engines yet there is nothing available to get good performance from this engine. Even KIA has upgrades, why is Mercedes Benz V-6 in limbo with upgrades. I think you are the right person to do this.
I love the two trips from Martinsburg to Chicago; the whole western MD through the PA turnpike (complete with tunnel runs and Burger King from the toll plazas) segment is one I've done probably 20 times in the last 5 years.
Yeah, I think that one of my alloy wheels has a crack somewhere. I have changed all four tires but when it's under 40℉, the tire pressure light comes on. But once the wheels warm up, it goes away.
People so often assume more power guarantees poor fuel economy. Usually the opposite is the case, unless you're pushing it. Especially with just a tune. The idea is to tune the engine for more power with the same hardware, to maximize the efficiency of the engine, extract the most power from the available fuel, which at the other end of the spectrum leads to extracting necessary operating power from the least possible fuel. Good work all around.
W212 M156 NA, is in the shop at moment for service, injectors, cam adjusters, radiator, front and rear brakes, motor mounts, engine, trans and rear diff service. 110K mileage and waiting for quote for head bolts replacement to add to the repair from your videos. So far Parts and labor $9K, crazy expansive
to refresh the steering wheel suede, just use a good suede cleaner or a mild soap solution and then use a brass filament suede brush to raise the suede fibers. Don't use sandpaper unless you want to remove the suede fibers.
Well done. I had a buddy that owned one and it was a nightmare. Cost him around $15k to get things right before he added mods. This one is damn near perfect. Great job!
If you need a camera vehicle with a power rear glass, look at a first gen Sequoia. Multiple tie down points inside from the factory, Toyota reliability, and one could be found for cheap. Plus, they’re easy to work on for maintenance.
