Damn man that sucks. I have a similar experience but my dad waited until his late 50's to get that way. We built a 1970 roadrunner together when I was 18 that was titled in both our names but had "or" instead of "and" on the title...he sold it without asking me. It was the only thing I had that reminded me of what he used to be...he died alone. It really was a shitty decade between us.

For the rear diff cover, it’s definitely worth swapping the cover to the finned aluminum Ford Racing cover with the drain and fill plugs. Use the Lube Locker gasket and never have to worry about RTV (or pulling the cover) again… until you need to replace an axle seal. I’ve never looked back.

Amazing how she picked up the difference between a turbo and a supercharger on the very first hit of the throttle. For a non car person, she's very accurate on how the car feels on acceleration. This is by far my favorite channel and has been for some time, you are quite the idol Alex. Coming from a young man also with a 2011 mustang gt, side note did the 4 piston brake upgrade also painted red with white stickers. When you plan to lower the rear just do a full suspension video for us. Love seeing your take and approval of the later S197 generation. Keep up the awesome content!!

I've been using Brisk GR12S plugs in my Procharged 98 Cobra for several years with zero issues. I've also used NGK BR7EF's in a pinch, but Brisk plugs have always worked well for me.

Awesome Alex! A little trick is to lightly rub synthetic grease (not petroleum based) on the pistons/piston boots on the calipers. After the paint dries, it just wipes off

Mmr makes some upgraded timing chains, guides, and an oil pump that'll handle high rpm a lot better than factory. I know people get away with it no problem on factory parts, but it might be a good idea to check them out at least. They also have billet phaser deletes that take a lot of reciprocating weight off of your cams which will make it rev a bit faster if that's something she might ever be interested in. Really cool car though, love the S197 cars

Hi Alex! I am from the Czech Republic - the country where the spark plugs were made and I have conflicting experiences with Brisk plugs. I used to run them on my motorbikes - Kawasaki 500cc ER-5 (silver one) and old Jawa 2-stroke (basic one) motorbikes. On two strokes runs flawlesly with no problems at all but in the ER-5 the inlet tip came loose from isolator and accidentaly causes misfires. And I almost tore apart whole fuel system because I thought it s related to fuel issue. 😃 ( In past I had some troubles with stuck choke on one carb and it behaved very similarly) After that I immediately changed them to just basic Denso spark plugs recommended by the manufacturer and after that no problem at all. So you definitely do the right thing with changing them to OEM ones. 👍👍

Great job on the Mustang Alex! The purple color does come through, when they first came in camera I though the color was purple instead of black chrome. Also agree the rear would look better being lowered a bit to bring it more inline with the front. Looking forward to more content on this to make it even better for your wife 😉

I added spacers to the wheels of my 2019 Gt which also white. I highly recommend some splash guards, front and rear. They are low profile and barely visible but they do a big job protecting the body and fenders...

Hey I have the same little white heater in my garage lol. It works a lot better on the ground instead of hanging on the wall, and you can stand in front of it and get some heat up the back when it's real cold which is amazing.

The factory or GT500 valve covers look really nice. The car also looks like it has a Peterson catch can which is comes on the Cobra Jet factory drag cars. You should get heat shields for the turbos, because the added heat might weaken the internals of the engine.

Wow that turned out nice!!👍🏻 My 1St car was a 1964.5 Mustang that my Grandmother bought new when she lived with her sister (RIP Aunt Lee and Grandma Cora🙏🏻) it was a pretty sweet 1st car. That was as in 1976 when I got my License. Miss that old car. 😢 it had the 260 cid V-8 with a auto trans that could by pass 1st gear and start in 2nd gear in the snow and rain. Drove it in the blizzard of 1978. Even with the V-8 in that little car, it handled the snow great. Of course we ran snow tires in those days! 😉

Hey Jay. Thank you for keeping it going. Will miss Ray and wish him the best but would love to see the channel continue along. I really enjoy the DIY projects you do. I understand its circumstance and event that allows those to happen. Channel name? I like a previous comment of something to the effect Jay and his builder buddy's. It give you a ton of cameo capability surrounding you. For content and to give the channel versatility keep going with any DIY you can. But add in shorts or other Playlist for design, planning, maintenance type of items. They may not be building a house but part of your charm is that you give off a one of the guys vibe. Show me how you would fix sagging garage beams, how do you approach a home plumbing issue. Remember it my seem basic to you but it's not for alot of us watching. Best of luck broski. I have more ideas but this is already a novel.
