Great film the beauty of the countryside the freedom of the road and your honesty. The hardest part of being a dad is learning you can't take your kids issues away, but just being there as their father and loving them is the gift you can give. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Beautiful scenery and beautiful sentiment. I hope Megan gets better soon. As a parent myself I understand 100% your concerns. Riding my bike is the most cathartic thing I do. I know it’s not mending what’s in my head but it sure helps to stop the pain in there for a while. Great video and thank you for sharing your experience 👍

Makes me want to start up the ol' Africa Twin and just ride to the end's world ;-) Real nice and honest talk/rambling there, having a daughter ourselves I definately feel your worries. Wish you all the best mate! Agree on the mental aspect of riding a motorcycle. I do my best thinking when I ride. and can leave everything out and just focus on "the mechanical aspect of the moment", and deal with one thought at a time. Get it sorted. No other "noises" than from my machine. Lovely. Here's something to get you to think of something else. I (the camera) picked up a slight rattle from your bike, mostly audible at very low speeds, and when coming to a stand still, you noticed it? Appears to come from the right side.. also sound "clutch like"? Well it's probably nothing, but something might needs tightening?

Coping mechanisms are an essential part of staying as close to normal as possible for some of us that others will never understand. I accidently shot and killed my mother when i was 18 years old. Stayed mad at people for a long time because they couldn't understand why i did the things i did to cope, always fighting, drinking , drugs until it hit me that if i cared for others i really wouldnt want them to understand. Playing guitar, and riding my motorcycle became outlets , both take total concentration. Im still a different sort, but closer to normal than i would otherwise be. I understand your view on riding. So glad to hear everything is going well for your Megan. These things that make us who we are, become more preasious when the need to cope is tied to it. Thanks again for being real. Honesty is invasive to some, i hope you dont mind mine.

Great Vid Mark, firstly I hope Meg is on the mend? I struggle with my mental health especially the last few months it’s been off the charts that’s why we did our trip the other week. Can’t make out if you went through the Darius Gorge which was near the town of Entrevaux ( citadel town) you went through. We ended up at the pharmacy there last year when my wife left all her insulin in a hotel fridge in Aneccy, lucky for us they had both types😮. Pity you did not head to the Verdon gorge which was not to far from where you were. Still you hit some great roads and views . And if you need to talk mate I’m your man.

Hi, hope every thing went well for your daughter. You must be one of the best normal honest couples on here to follow .That road looked so good to ride on & them hairpins looked tight . We must be about the same we have a RKS and we both work hard for what we have . we cant wait to get away in a cpl weeks time & this will be our first trip on the RKS. Do you use the go pro editor for your videos ?
