Another ebay faulty pick up. Switch error code, few issues with this, some caused by me too!

I'm working on a Switch V1 which has this exact error code. Only its water damaged. It does power on to the same error code, but I can't test it further. Bought a replacement M92T36 and a new charging port as the existing one only charges one way

I got a switch oled that throws the same error when powering on. Swapped the m92 with a new one but still a no go. Then swapped it from a donor board didn’t make a difference. No shorts on the m92. Something though that throws me off is it throws the error when powering on but if you have it plugged into to the charger and turn it on then it won’t throw the error

Sorry, new one to me (also not had an oled yet). I would have said M92 issue but if you have swapped with a known working one that rules it out!

I had this error code last week when I took the back off and shield I noticed m92 chip had a hole in it once swapped out it works great now

@@fixingmoddingbuilding I have a couple of switches here that work in the dock and I can hear the touch working and joycon clicking from the speakers but they both just display a white background or backlight basically no display. Would you say this is faulty lcd with these 2 or possibly something else

@@jontait1095 If they have been opened previously I would say the ribbon cable connector going to the screen is damaged, the pins inside bend really easily. I have broken Loads over the years now I would say that is the likely issue!

@@fixingmoddingbuilding I'll try replacing 1 of the zif connector for the lcd see how it goes I've got a couple of donor boards

@@jontait1095 Good luck, I hate swapping them, one leg doesn't take and it doesn't work!
