I feel the same about this. RE5 did kill the series, but still I had tons of fun playing this coop with my twin brother. This game has a true love-hate relationship with me.
I forgot how odd it was that people were getting upset at Capcom for making a game in which the main character kills bio-weapon infested people, just for the sole reason that he is white.
I mean, the thing people were angry at was that it looked super bad to have a white guy go to Africa and just mow down normal looking black people as their first big trailer. You know, because colonialism and slavery and stuff kind-of created some racial tension over white people being glorified for fucking with Africans. What's really weird is that, looking back, now we're kind-of at that point again because with the police killing people you could NOT make this game in 2018, lol! Like the instant you have a white guy gunning down legions of Black People, that becomes super awkward. And if you somehow manage to work in a school setting as well, then that game would just be done!
People accuses RE5 of being racist because the zombies are black peole who were infected, i doubt that the game is racist, there is a fuck ton of people in africa.
