Trying to sell Quilts? WAS IT WORTH IT?

Thank you for giving us a tour of your local show. It is really interesting and I can see everything that you saw! You were not in a hurry or rushing thru so it was most enjoyable. You have a unique view of looking at it in a positive light and I like that you point out what we can learn from a local show. It is not all about the money and selling what we make but also learning what we can from others and being appreciated for our own artistry. I think I will look at a show with a different lens now.

What a great experience to meet your fellow community members. Many of those senior ladies may appreciate your quilting skills. Make up some business cards. Spread your talent and friendship.

Your sense of close vs far strikes as still very UK (which is just an observation, not a judgment). Living in rural USA I fully appreciate this small town concept and the next town being 15-20 minutes away like in Australia. The "city" I live in has 15k people, lol.

In this video our small country town held a craft show lessons, was there lessons learnt for the next ??

I was surprised to see that a small venue had such a wide variety of products. I had to laugh when I saw the town was named Romsey because I was raised in a US town named Ramsey!!

When you go to the craft show it is mostly to put you name out there. Most crafter don’t sell much but get orders after
