TRYING TO SKATE BIG WHEELS - Hows the wheel bite?

I try skating flat 72mm wheels on my Them Skates 908. I brought these Kizer frames a while ago but only ever commuted on them. I finally try grinding on them and it goes great! I don't know if this is what power blading is but if it is, I love it. Hows the wheel bite? Watch and see :)

Thanks man ✌🏻 appreciate it. I brought the frames and wheels secound hand of a friend. So I have no idea what their names are. But theyre undercover 72mm wheels and kizer frames. If I find out more ill make a follow up video ✌🏻

I just ordered some kizer slimline and they space the wheels out more so supposedly you can skate flat without any issues. I think that's nuts that you're getting that same feeling on 72s!

My last frame was the slim line. Never skated it flat tho. They were a great frame tho. Same it doesnt make sence haha.

Hey man, nice video, I wanna buy my first pair of rollerblade and learn this art, I love this powerblading, is it possible buy any aggresive model and change the wheels only to make the model powerblading?

You actually look much more solid on those frames than the other frames. Maybe it also helped that you were already riding 4 down with the OGs, so the learning curve wasn’t as steep. Having a slightly taller frame makes royales look better to me as it forces you to get a little lower, especially with modern soul plates.

I agree. Im hoping that when I try skate my creates again theyll feel a lot easier. Yeah I have to agree. They felt way cooler too. Just icy 💪🏻

Do you feel like these steer and carve just as they would if riding 72mm with no spread for a grinding groove between wheels? Trying to decide if these would be just as good for slalom and dance as a flat setup on a Kizer Advance or a Compass frame. (I want to keep it UFS, understanding there are specialized freestyle skates)

Any idea what the opposite of a tabernacle is called? Both tricks are pretty dumb but I feel better on the other one.

You mean where you twist the back foot inward on frontside? I am personally stuck between calling it a Glyph or Glyptic. I'm guessing that since Arlo or some other old school blade dog named the Tabernacle trick after a mystical object when visiting Israel, I'd keep it along those mystic lines too.

Yeah. Coming from Razors topsides have become a lot harder. The heel of the doul plate is a lot smaller then on razors making it a lot harder. Nothing you cant get used to tho. Im gona do a follow up review on them by monday that should show off more of the bad parts of Them.

You can ride them freestyle. They don't need to have the middle wheels

Welcome to blading man! You will most likely need new frames to fit bigger wheels. You can get an aggressive boot as a "Boot Only" and buy some power blading frames and wheels and put them on. It's possible, but confusing to a beginner. I would recommend getting the USD Aeon 80s. They will come out of the box ready to go and be a good middle ground for skating around in a city and doing tricks in a skate park. Hopefully that helps you out 🙏

Going on not being able to skate the whole rail, it's only a puddle dude just clean your wheels and bearings when you get home, I live in England and it's wet alot the year round, just skate dont worry about a little splashing
