The soultanicals slipeNSlide hair glide or the Soultanicals Knot Sauce. It's a vegan company and those detanglers are award winning sis Yes Award winning!! Please PLEASE try them gorgeous mama!😇😇💙💙
I'm just here to say I love your channel -#1 because you stay out of~ RU-vid ~🎉drama. I have learned, so many great ideas from you. Great job from a professional black woman.
Just curious if you would do top 5 on hair milk products. I used the not your mother's detangler, and had the same experience. I'm trying a couple of hair milk products to see if they work...
Lol ikr... I tried using a detangling brush years ago and it kept getting stuck, then the bristles begin to bend or break. My hair was like naw homes it's not gonna happen.🙂 So now I finger detangle and use a wide tooth comb
honestly imma start watching her hair videos cuz we dont have enough 4c hair people like her cuz my hair 4c and i need to know how to get my hair as long as hers
I was just fighting with my daughter’s hair and found this lifesaving video. I feel your pain. Ran to to the store and got the top 3 products she recommended. About to try them. How did it work out for you
Let me tell you that you are the reason why I went natural . I’ve been natural for the past 8 months , I’m falling in love with my hair and I thank you for that
Hi I know the video is old but please tell me her hair type? Its so pretty like black soft cotton. I think I have two different types, Is she 4C hair type? I'm still learning hair types, Thanks.
@@michelleapple1214 Throw the whole chart away. It means very little. (I kinda hate Andre made up that chart, smh). Each head of hair has its uniqueness. Ten folk can refer to themselves as 4c, yet their own genetic makeup causes each of those 10 people to have it's own charactersics, and behavior. E.g. Density , Porosity level, Hair strand size, silky feel, coarse rough feel, curl's resistance level..etc.
The poor face you made when detangling reminds me of when my mom combed my hair as a child... I felt your pain. Sidenote natural girl arms be on fleek!!!!💪
I know this video is from 2 years ago, but i think you've helped save my sanity! My 12yr old daughter has hair similar to yours. There were lots of tears last night while combing out her hair& I went to bed feeling like I failed her as a Mom. We have different hair textures, so what works for me, doesn't for her. Thank you for reviewing these detanglers & I'll definitely be getting my baby a paddle brush!😘❤
Yassss I know for a fact Cantu CAN DO LOL! Thank you for this video!!!! On a side note and randomly speaking, let's give a quick RIP to all of the combs and brushes we lost in the struggle LOL 💖💖💖
My go-to has always been the Cantu Coil Calm Detangler, but I definitely agree that the spray bottle is so annoying to use so I usually just pour it into my hand. They should really rethink the packaging.
First of all ... Thank you for going through this ordeal and endangering the integrity of your strands just for us, that is dedication! Second, your hair separated into 6 puffs is the cutest style! I will definitely try this! Last but not least, your hair is lusciously full and springy, you obviously take excellent care of it (in spite of that scrubbing motion you perform on the ends that made me go 🤷🏽♀️). You have yourself a new subscriber madam. I personally find that homemade flaxseed gel, when thick enough, makes a good detangler. I love the way As I am leave in conditioner doubles as a great detangler and curl defining product. It’s my favorite so far. X&o from France.
I HAD to come back here and say THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! that Carol's daughter 4 in 1 one just saved me so much time on my daughter's hair!!!!!!!!! BLESS YOU!!!!!! IT IS THE TRUTH!!!!
Yes! I've watched looooads of detangling videos (I think I'm a sadist) and people will describe the hair as 'matted' and then part it into sections at the start with ease. Matted where?? It's wonderful to see someone have the same struggles as me. Sorry! But it is! Hehe! I really like the Kinky Curly Knot Today, so it's interesting that it only got to number 3 rated on your list! One you didn't use that I love is the Qhemet Biologics Detangling Ghee. It is a beautiful product and even works on dry hair, which would be useful for mid-week styling if I ever mid-week styled. I've heard great things about the Devacurl Wash Day Wonder, but I am patiently waiting on a lottery win or a sugar daddy before trying it. Anyway, great video. Your hair is, as always, gorgeous.
Girl, I I had to go into intecessory prayer for you when you were sectioning! I literally had my hand to my chest with my eyes wide open! You are so brave!!! Thank you for doing this for us kinky hair girls. You the real MVP✊👌👍
I watched this video all the way through in hopes of finding the right product for my daughters kinky hair. You took the guess work out of my search and I really appreciate it. Thank You!!
So I got the Carol's Daughter Detangler and did a twist out. I have to say thank you for this video again, because I love this stuff. My hair was so soft and bouncy. I think this is better than anything else I have ever tried.
I just went to Walmart and I found BB Maximum Strength Oil Misturizer Hair Lotion with Castor Oil and Aloe. My grandmother use to use this on my hair. I have 4c hair and it works. Thank you so much for the video.
I loved these reviews. Our hair is literally identical and I can identify with some of your reviews. This def saved me some money because some of them I wanted to try. Sidenote: anytime I use something in a spray bottle never works. Creams are the best! Thick hair gang!
I’m so glad I found this! Like you, I did t have much success with other Carol’s daughter products, but thanks to this video I’m no longer yanking my hair out while detangling!
I just need to thank you from my toes!!!! I often try to encourage women who feel unsure about rocking their natural hair, that they are beautiful just as they are. And it wasn't until watching this video did I realize how beautiful our hair can be in its natural, unstretched state. I had to pause the video just to appreciate your shampood but not even conditioned tendrils... GORGEOUS!!! I always stretch my hair and never think to rock it unstretched simply because the more it dries, the more it shrinks and then trying to do anything with it is like instilling world peace. However, I just might enjoy a new style and save some time on styling my hair this summer. Your descriptions of the products were insightful... THANK YOU!!!
Sooo someone probably already said this but can you make this a mini series? I would love to see this with deep conditioners, and maybe edge controls? Brushes even? there’s so many things that are top rated but I wanna see if they work before I buy. Thank you, this video was so helpful! 💜
Chick you have type 4B/C hair wow...that's so inspiring to me because I have the same type and I've never felt my hair could grow and be healthy...But i know it's possible now...OMG...Thanks so much🤯🙌🖤
Girl!!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR hair texture. I know it may be a lot of work it’s so beautiful, healthy and springy. I absolutely enjoyed this video. Thank you.
I have 4c hair The Mane Choice is a really good detangler, I use all their products. It's pricey but it's quality products, thanks for sharing other options to look into.
I recently started using Carol's Daughter. I use her Hair Milk line. Carol's Daughter products are nice and light, but work great. Each line goes by hair type. There's Hair Milk, Almond Milk, Coco creme, black vanilla and lavender (I think I got that one wrong).
Great review!! I been using Carols daughter black vanilla shampoo and conditioner and it’s the only shampoo and conditioner that works on my super thick 4c hair. I never used the detangler but now I’m sooooo excited to try it with the shampoo and conditioner I been using for years!! Thanks again!
Your hair is so beautiful! 😍 The fact that you did this in front of a white couch was stressing me out lol. But girl I needed a detangler. Bless you 🙏🏾
I JUST THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!! I could really see your trials and tribulations!!! It's great to see people make it through the struggle--and the products that help ✌️❤️
God moved you to make this video for me!!! 🤦🏾♀️😅. God bless you!! Natural hair is NOTTTT easy. This video better get a million views for all the effort!! 😆 It’s nice how real you came and brushed it on camera like trust me it’s not detangled 😅🙏🏾. And I’ve seen the knot today for years and decided two days ago to get it. So interesting how you did this video. I’m surprised at the carol’s daughter bravo
Your hair is thickalicious and coiled to the Gods! Just gorgeous! I’ve only used the Kinky Coily of the ones you demoed. It worked on my hair pretty well. Shea butter detangles pretty well too for me. I’ve also noticed when it comes to detangling sometimes you need to let a product sit on your hair for a few minutes and it can make a difference. Now a days after I rinse out my deep conditioner I’ll put my leave-in on and then a plastic cap and let it sit for like 5 minutes before I do anything else to my hair. If nothing else it gives me a little break in wash day before I style. And breaks during wash day are always welcomed
The feeling when you put a product on and your hair feels drier than before is one I know quite well. this video is super helpful. I felt the same about that shea moisture in my daughter's hair
Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate each of these products on your beautifully-coiled natural hair! I will certainly try the Carol's Daughter detangler. Peace
I use the TALIAH WAAJID The Great Detangler for my 4c hair. I use A LOT of it instead of the suggested lol. I also use it as a leave-in condition. I like that it doesn't flake or make my hair look grayish.
BEST DEMO VIDEO ON DETANGLE HAIR PRODUCTS BY FAR!!! In just under 20 minutes, your simple, straightforward method made the time and cost consuming process of finding a decent detangle product for my temperamental, kinky, coily hair so much easier--THANK YOU!!! I'm thinking of trying your rating method with Carol's Daughter, Kinky Curly, Cantu and Design Essentials HCO (...which you didn't demo on this video but, its gotten consistently good reviews.) Thanks again for a great demo-video! Ms.ECstreet :)
I think the best product you should buy is the q-redew hair steamer. It’s intended purpose is to refresh between washes. It’s detangles, softens, and hydrates your hair. BTW: I’m not a representative or a salesperson. I just really like the product!
Having seen your hair after you detangled it and got it looking pretty, I never thought you and I had a similar type of hair. I too have a horrible time with tangles. This review has been helpful. Thanks😊💖
Sis, the Jane Carter leave in detangling spray is the best hands down! And it leaves your hair super soft. You should try it! I have the same hair texture as you do.
You should try Shea moisture coconut hibiscus curl defining smoothie. It’s excellent with an awesome scent. I use it on my granddaughter’s natural thick long hair. It has awesome slippage. She’s very tender headed.
What a brilliant video. This is the type of review I need because my hair is similar to yours. Yours is beautiful by the way. The sound of that brush, yep, just like mine. Sounds like i'm pulling out my very Soul!
Newly loose natural from being a loc-ed natural and you are my EXACT hair type & length 😭 Definitely about to binge watch your vids cause after having locs for 5 years, idk what to do 🥴🥴
Kinky Kurly Knot Today is the GOAT! Also... Herbal Essences Hello Hydration is a regular condition but the SLIP?!!!! And it smells amazing, you should definitely try
