I finally tried a zero waste mascara! It's from Bésame Cosmetics. They package their products with a vintage style and look, which is adorable! Do you think it actually works??? It comes in a tin and they sell refills. I'm really trying to transition more and more towards zero waste makeup. If you have any other zero waste mascara suggestions, let me know!

This is supposed to last for up to 24 months so it's way less expensive in the long run, especially if you use it as a liner too cause that's cutting down on one more product cost

I’ve been using this mascara for about a month and love it! I gave that stupid plastic brush to a friend for her kid to use with Barbies. I reused one of my old mascara wands instead of trashing it. I just bent my wand so the spoolie is perpendicular to the rest of the want (like an L shape) and it fits in the tin really nicely!

How does it wear? Does it last all day? What is it like to remove? Does it flake during the day? Smudge under your eyes? What is it made of? I'd love to see a follow up review that includes more about the product.

Awesome! Thank you! I wish Besame would just not include that brush. I saw someone use it with a right angle mascara wand and it works perfectly to get the mascara out of the tin. Please continue with more sustainable content :)

Candace Thanks for watching! I think you can buy the just the refill of the mascara cake (without the tin and brush). But if you get the tin, you get the brush. It’s a cute part of it, but it doesn’t work. Oh, the angle mascara wand definitely is a smart idea!! Thank you!! 😊

I still have so many mascaras in plastic tubes that I got as gifts to justify investing in a zero waste one. I've definitely had my eye on besame though. This is a great in depth review. The mascara looks so nice on you! It also looks like more product than is even in 2-3 tubes of mascara so I think the price isn't too ridiculous. Someday I'll run out of these pesky plastic tubes, haha.

Okay so I'm not meaning any disrespect or anything like that I don't think you realize how loud you are it sounds like you're yelling at times and I couldn't finish the video because it was so loud I don't know if anybody else has said anything yet but at certain points it was really bad I know it wasn't your fault I'm just trying to let you be aware of it..
