A beautifully made film: unpretentious and honest with a self-effacing, reflective and informative commentary by Louis. Such a nice guy who just flows on rock plus he's a great communicator. The camera work really captured the beauty of the Japanese landscape balanced against the urban shots. More of the same please from the same team. A breath of fresh air. Perfect.

Wow, one of the best climbing documentaries I've seen so far, so relaxed, laid-back, aesthetically well done - I feel like I have a very good idea how it is to boulder in and around tokyo due to the great camerawork - and louis is such a cool guy, well spoken, great climber and overall a refreshing, positive person dang it, now I'm even more hyped for climbing and austria is in full lockdown mode :D

There is that thing where you spend time climbing with someone that you have never seen before and you bond in some amazing way. And then you have to part ways knowing you will likely not ever see that person again. That’s a meaningful human experience.

As the World Champs have just shown, the Japanese are very very strong.I used to go to a wall in Nagoya and they were campussing on crimps with 10 or 15 Kilos. You can get to Ogawayama from Tokyo by train and bus.Thumb or walk the last 2 miles You will probably need a Japanese speaker, but maybe you could do without.Take food for the off season, and warm kit. There are also trad climbs ,good quality.

Honestly, the best part was watching Louis be utterly gob-smacked looking when he met Yuji Hirayama a legit legend of Trad, Sport and Bouldering. Show's that Louis is well grounded and appreciates the "real deal" when he has a chance to brush with greatness ie he's not just some (strong) bouldering twit.
