TS 680S 1 

I purchased my TS680s in 1990. It's pretty rooted now. The M.CH/VFO CH rotary encoder is useless and not repairable. Mode and function buttons suffer from 'key bounce' and the radio intermittently goes totally deaf. The circuit diagram supplied with the radio does not match the actual circuit boards. As an example, D7 and K13 on the filter board (in the radio) do not exist in the circuit diagram. The radio behaved well for the first 15 years, then the faults started and progressively got worse.😟

Audio sounds great. What antenna are you using? Any chance of a video going over the 680 showing the buttons and how they function?

Question. If this radio is fresh and stock meaning it hasn't been recapped, do you think it will still last another 10 to 15 years as is?
