TBH, the tipping system needs to leave the restaurant industry all together. Not to justify poor service but part of the reason why we receive poor service is because servers are not paid a living wage. If a restaurant can’t afford to pay their employees, they shouldn’t be open IMO🤷🏾♀️
Can we please have a segment on the last 15 seconds! Please! I just finished school and starting a new career and I am so happy I did. I jumped. It was scary. It changed my life. A well needed convo.
Didn't Keith Lee do a whole review of multiple ATL black owned establishments and had horrible experiences, even having his family turned away until he came in, and one owner made a diss video towards him?
Kiss in Houston charged me a $30 cake fee for the cake I brought to my girlfriend’s birthday dinner, just for them to bring the cake out and melted. It was an ice cream cake that I had brought three hours before the dinner dinner do you think they put it in the walk-in freezer? No SMH it was $30 for them to bring the cake out with two sparklers some plates and extra forks. What in the world?

I've been in the food industry 30+ years: chef, serrver, bartender. It''s true he industry hasn;t kept up with the cost of living as fas as server pay rates. However: to decide you're not going to tip your service people a base 20% doesn't send a message to ownership, it only hurts the server.
I have to agree with the young lady. I dont go to restaurants that charges for parking, a service fee or just too much period lol. A restaurant named Shoney's in my area serves a breakfast buffet for $7.99. They have it ALL! Same with a restaurant called Western Sizzlin. They charge $10.99 for their dinner buffet. They have it all too!
When you have a breakup you need to be in a outdoor place before you talk to your friends about that sit down and think about it lay it out they the other are later
BLACK PEOPLE DON'T TIP AND WHEN THEY DO IT'S NEVER THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT!!! There's a small group of us that do TIP properly, especially when we get good service..
I worked the cubicle and made my ends… Bottom line you get what you pay for, if you want top notch service you need to payyyyyy! I don’t patron Black business because I NEVER get the service I WANT! They will not get my ends!
