how do you practice holding your breathe? I was in a swim team, but I cant hold my breathe under 4 meters longer than 1 minute. And how do you aim and shoot?
What size is your band? That must be strong, I can't use single band on my speargun too weak for me mostly when making an ambush or firing to 20ft. distance couldn't impale the fish.

You don't have to be so triggered because he actually eats those and that's what makes him happy... what do you not want him to be happy every wants to be happy so he can shoot fish if he want to.

do you not ever feel guilty taking so many lives for fun. Taking away everything from a creature just to gain a little self satisfaction? Can you not get the same kick by doing an activity that is not destructive. I really don't get a kick from watching lives being taken in vain. I can do it and I understand it makes you feel like the big man but it only benefits you, as a child I killed bugs, made me feel like a god. but i grew to understand taking a life for no reason is not a good thing. The bigger man can live with the creature. The smaller man has to prove a point.
He don't have to feel guilty about it. I understand what you saying but you are quiet wrong. First thing to explain is spearfishing is not a hobby, it's a way of life. Those people have more respect for the sea and live than other people. Spearfishing it's a selective way of fishing, but fishing it's a wrong term for me, it's more like hunting. We don't use bait for atracting the fish to us, we are in a big disavantage, our pray could escape anywhere and dont have trouble for breathing underwater. Achieving a good technique take years, it's not like diving into water and start shooting. As a selective way of fishing its also the most sustaniable fishing method, you take what you need, you choose the pray. Thats something you wont find in other fishing methods. To get an idea, One comercial fishing boat in 1 day take more tones of fish than all spearfishers of a country in a year. And for last, lets explain something, we are humans... we was hunting for living sinces we was on earth. Reject nature it's something shameful, it's not about killing live or not, its about accept our nature and be correct with our environment. If you really feel pitty for live, start stopping going to supermarket... everything from vegetables to meat has been proceseed in ways you couldnt imagine. support small farmers, rancher and fishers in that way you spread a big respect for you environment, those people doing things wright. I got your point, but you are not conscious on where is the things wrong. Comercial fishing as a terrible impact on sea, but spearfishing? non at all...
