This is my biggest fear as a mother and I feel sorry for you and your daughter 🥺🥺 this is exactly why I’ve been single for close to 10 years and yet I’m still very young too… you will not see a person’s true color until after marrying them, behind closed doors… 😓😥

Family members should stop attacking the victims. It's not the victims fault. It's your son/brother's fault. Too many of these stories are being shoved under the rug in our community.

I work in Child Protective Services and I see this type of stories too often. I still am in shock every time I hear stories like this especially within our Hmong communities. I’m happy that you protected your daughter. I hope your daughter over come this tragedy and I hope she is doing well and better. Please get the help (counseling) needed for her.

Being a hmong girl....as a child my mom taught us all the red flags, what to do, what not to do when it comes to other men and even my own biological father. She's implemented these into our heads we can protect ourselves from any evil men with bad intententions. All mothers should teach these to their kids, regardless of gender or age.
