In this video I played Tsawwassen Springs during a sever windstorm. This was my first time playing here and I was thoroughly impressed by the course conditions and overall "feel". Although it is a short track (5,500 yards, par 70), it still presents a good challenge with several narrow holes and lots of water. The greens were rolling better than any other Lower Mainland courses I've played within the last, which says a lot considering the time of year and rainy weather.

Ben, I grew up just up the hill from there in Tsawwassen. Learned to golf on the "old" version of that course, and actually did some work with the course construction crew (Woodland Golf) on the drainage systems around bunkers and greens. Great review of the course. In my opinion, they sort of chopped this course's potential at the knees for the sake of housing development, but certainly a challenging track that usually plays in wonderful shape (like most courses down there). Quinn's is a nice place to grab a beer as well.

Very cool! Yeah it’s a fun course but definitely short. I’ve heard great things about Quinn’s, will have to stop in the next time I’m down!

Love the videos! I hop the travel restrictions don't affect the channel too much. Theres tons of great courses down in the Kootenays too. Greywolf, Copper Point, Eagle Ranch....Keep it up buddy

Thanks Jordan! Ya I’ll have to stick to some interior courses here for a bit, but back in the lower mainland for late May. I have a Kootenay trip planned end of August to hit up some of the best courses out that way!

Every second round I play here it's windy lol! At least it rarely rains in that area and when it does, the drainage is great!

Yeah seems like it could be windy often just given proximity to the ocean. This day was a whole other level! Definitely up there for the most wind I’ve played in.

I was watching this and thinking to myself "I'm really impressed with his course management" and literally the next thing you say is "ahhh let's go for it." 😅😅😅 nice round though. Shot of the day, in my opinion, was your chip on #2, perfectly into the bank. Nicely judged.

@@BeattheCourseGolfChannel Nah, I do actually think this is solid! 15-20 minutes seems to be the golden range for extended videos like this that cover all shots. Was able to keep the attention the whole time without needing to pause to do something else. Mostly giving you shit cause you absolutely crush my scores!! Lmao
